"The check in was easy and the guy that helped us was very nice. The room itself was cute- completely different than what the outside looks like. It is pretty dirty though, they could use a mop and some scrubbing but it really wasn’t bad for a Motel 6. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows are the size of throw pillows and you get one per person. Also, the towels sucked and we ended up buying one at the Fred Meyer next door. All in all, not a bad stay, just needs to be cleaned. "
River's Edge Hotel Portland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Quietly tucked away on the outskirts of Portland. River view rooms are great and there is a walking/running/biking path along the river. Close to OSHU. "
"The room was nice and quiet and our bed was very comfortable. The only thing was that the blackout blinds didn't fully close, but that is pretty common with hotels. The staff was very nice and professional and the location was very convenient."
"I loved everything about my stay! My biggest concern was safety in Portland since my friend and I are both female and traveling by ourselves but the neighborhood was super clean and beautiful. The hotel even requires key cards to access the elevators. So really safe. We even used public transportation for our stay. It was super convenient because the metro was right on the corner. Loved our stay at Hyatt House."
"Very comfortable room. Friendly staff. At breakfast, I had to ask for oatmeal 2 out of the 3 days. Being vegan, oatmeal was literally the only thing at breakfast I could eat. I was glad that at least in the 3rd day, 3 packets of oatmeal were available."
Play a round of golf in Milwaukie at Waverley Country Club, and enjoy other activities such as cycling. Visit the area's shops or amble around its riverfront.
