I was traveling with my daughter and was in need of accommodations close to W&L. This charming motel was exactly what we needed, unfortunately our flight was delayed and we did not get a chance to explore all that was offered. The motel staff was very helpful given our late arrival due to flight complications. I required assistance getting to the airport and found the front desk staff very helpful in facilitating a car service last minute.
We had a wonderful stay at the newly renovated KG Motel! The motel has been brought back to glory and is so fun. The rooms strike a perfect balance between maintaining some of the original charm and being brought up to today's standards (which were exceeded!). The beds were fabulously comfy and linens soft yet crisp. We loved how the room had a ceiling fan and plenty of space. Our check-in was super smooth and we loved the Lexington-based items offered featured in the lobby. My husband and I are both W&L grads and we loved seeing the Keydet General brought back to glory. It will be a great place for current parents and alumni to stay when they return to good ole Lex Vegas. And for those traveling with pooches, they are pet friendly with a great fenced dog run!
Our day was an excellent experience in every way! Michael, Madi, Loraine, and Jade we’re more than accommodating and made my wife and I feel very welcome. A great experience, completely unique, especially compared to cookie cutter national Hotel chains. we were very happy to support this locally owned business and will do so again the next time we visit Lexington. Highly recommended!
