Our reservations were canceled due to the corona virus. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this by expedia. Owners were very gracious and offered us a room, minus breakfast. We were delighted with the guest house and hope to return and enjoy their highly praised breakfast when life returns to normal!

This beautiful old home was wonderful to stay in. Very comfortable with all the luxuries of home. The proprietors are just wonderful! I will stay here again and will definitely be recommending it to others.

We had booked one night with the Bennett House. We had planned to get a hotel somewhere south of Cincinnati the night before. Unbeknownst to us, every single hotel room from Cincinnati to south of Lexington had been booked. Many large events were taking place that weekend. After fruitless calls, we contacted the Bennett House to see if they had room for us a night early. They were full, but Mr. and Mrs. Smart moved out of their personal room to rescue us from spending the night in a Walmart parking lot. We were so grateful! The home is breath taking, the rooms welcoming, and the food was delicious.

Bennett House is a lovely historic home offering the best of everything for an overnight stay. The staff was very gracious. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served to us at the time we requested--which was quite early. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again some day.

Awesome home with tons of character. The staircase in the entryway is stunning, and the rest of the house is furnished beautifully. Definitely a place to return when we travel back that way!!!

Great place for repeat visits.
We like being there inside and out. We wished we had more time to experience the house and grounds (gazebo and deck). We'd like to go back and stay in their units in the separate building behind the house. The area on the main floor with a fireplace was relaxing and enjoyable. Out room on the first floor was large with a sitting area, fireplace, TV & wifi,, and comfortable chairs. The bathroom was large. Our room and the whole house was neat and clean.

Only 4 room.s. The owners are super friendly and a great cooks. I highly recommend but not for children. Many delicate antiques.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast
This establishment was our very first experience for a B&B and it was our honeymoon. What a treat, the structure really does take you back to the turn of the century, it is well kept, beautiful and comfortable. You are made to feel welcome immediately. It is close to restaurant establishments and was fun to walk the main city area. The room was large, well decorated with classic charm and comfort. Loved the journals left by prior guests so you can add your own personal experience. It was fun to read the comments of all the people who spent time there. We plan on going back in the near future. Thank you, Richard, and Rita for a delightful stay.

Very nice. Owners sister was wonderful
I loved this place. So homey and nice. Went down there to run a half marathon and bed and tub were comfy. Can't say enough good things . You just have to try it yourself. Reasonable cost too.

A cozy stay
We enjoyed the bed and breakfast very much. It is a beautiful building and we were given a tour by the owner when he noticed our interest. We were actually housed in a cozy cottage in the second building that was also lovely.

Nice option instead of hotel.
My two sisters and I were in town for a concert at the local college. This was a much nicer option than a hotel room! We stayed in the Ashley suite with two double beds, a small kitchenette and a separate living area. The bathroom was very nice too.

Short stay in Richmond. Our host contacted us several times before our arrival and arranged to have a key waiting for us. We stayed in the second level of the guest house. The first level unit is more luxurious and has a king bed, which if we were staying more than one night would be nice.

Absolutely relaxing!
Great place for a quick stop or for a few days! We loved the authenticity of the house to its roots and the hospitality of the host and hostess. Very nice place and excellent value. Wifi is free.

Situated in the heart of Georgetown, next to the EKU campus, blending in with its architecture, Bennet B&B is a tranquil place where we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The college was quiet as it was Memorial weekend, and that helped add to the serenity.

CONVENIENTLY LOCATED
We stayed in the cottage. It was very clean and spacious with a cheerful, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was a real treat and we enjoyed the charm of the house and grounds. We will stay there again when we're back in that area.

Southern charm at an affordable price
From the moment I walked into the foyer of the Bennett House I was in awe. The hardwood floors and bannister were polished to a shine and the rooms were decorated with such care. The breakfast was delicious and Richard and Rita were wonderful hosts.
