"clean and quiet, our only issue was the people in the that was driving the u-haul with their car on a trailer on the back of it, decided it was a good idea to take up half of the back row of parking spots facing the rooms, causing most of us to have to park in the very back and walk a mile from outlet car to our room, i figured after the first night of this, management would have said something and it would have been taken care of, however we just came in and the u-haul had not been moved at all so i am guessing that nothing was said, anyway, other than that, it was nice, quiet and clean"

"It was a comfortable, relatively quiet - it is right by the interstate and a truck stop, so some noise should be expected - place for my partner and I to rest that saved us an extra 90 miles in travel for my partners weekend job. I’ve paid a lot more for much worse in the past at other hotels, so for the price, this was a good place. The only real issue we had was that the power went out for a few minutes, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, and it didn’t last very long. Shower was hot and had good pressure, AC was cold, and the bed was clean and provided enough support to where I didn’t wake up with a stiff back. Chances are, we’ll stay here again on the weekend to save on travel time. It was nice to be able to go to bed at a decent time and not have to be up at dawn to get my partner to work on time."

"Love it there. Rooms clean. Love walking on the boardwalk and the food is amazing at the restaurant!!! Only issue was w the bathroom door not staying open and no ice bucket on my 2nd stay there Employes are great- love Jennifer! Definitely recommend the secret hidden gem"

"Customer service by Elisha was excellent! Before arrival, she sent me an email to check on my status as I was unreachable on my non-US number and needed to confirm on my reservation. The place is so tranquil; upon arrival, I immediately extended for another night, knowing that I would enjoy the peace and quiet. There were a few guests around, and we all had our own spaces - I went on my runs around the compound while others had their activities. The kitchen was self sufficient - I could cook simple meals with the appliances provided. The bed was so comfortable - my watch measured that as my best sleep in months. All the information & recommendations were written down so it was easy to navigate around the area to places close by. Tried Rose Garden Restaurant for dinner as recommended and it did not disappoint. Drove to Smithville downtown and spent half a day chatting with the local store owners/residents. Also did a 3hrs kayak with Canoe the Caney nearby and had an easy day out. There is no lack of activities if one wishes to do. Overall, the place provided the serenity I was looking for before heading back to city life. Very glad to have found this place!"
