Nice Hotel in the center of town
Nice Hotel in the center of town with helpful staff and a very good breakfast, nice but compact rooms with comfy beds. We would recommend this hotel although getting a wheelchair in the lift would be tight.

Comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. Excellent location for access to Lille Eurostar station (7 min walk). Very nice bathroom with spacious shower unit. Could do with having tea/coffee making facility in the room. Would be much better to have a safe in the room (this is important).

Terrific location for shopping in Lille
This hotel is a short walk from the train station and across from Euralille, a shopping mall in downtown Lille. This is very convenient for shopping and dashing back and forth to your hotel. Euralille also has a movie theater and it is good to have your hotel close by after a late night show. Throughout my 3-day stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. A cold, limited heavy carb breakfast is included in the room rate, but Carrefour grocery store is across the street if you need more food/snacks. Unfortunately, there is no fridge or microwave in the room. The hotel room was clean and updated and the bed was comfortable. I stayed in a standard room with a shower. I could upgrade for 20 euros to a larger room with a bathtub, but they were sold out. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay and would stay here again.

Great location. Lovely clean room. The only downside was the fact that we had breakfast paid for and we waited 20min standing for a table for 3 while others were staying at the table having their 3rd tea cup and no food, like being at a coffee place not breakfast.

Adequate, nothing special but very inexpensive
I didn’t like the room much. It was very small without a desk and I had to jump over items to get to my bed cos there wasn’t much space to leave my luggage so had to put it on the floor. There was an odour in the room which I tried to get rid of by leaving the window open but it never seemed to go away . Bed was comfy , shower not too bad and breakfast pretty basic. It was close to everything which was convienant as Lille is public toilet challenged so it was always easy to do things and come back to the hotel when required. It’s locarion is it’s best point . Hotel was also quite quiet which is a bonus for inner city .

Perfect city location
Lovely little hotel in very close proximity to the city centre. There's not much to say about it, because it is what it is. However what there was, was brilliant, clean tidy and excellent value for money. Great breakfast too which was included!

Great location, right in the old centre but an easy walk from the Eurostar station. The hotel was clean, in good condition throughout and with friendly staff. It was very quiet on the side of the hotel away from the street, but some of the street-side rooms had little balconies. Good quality breakfast included in our rate.

Worth a visit
We had a great stay at Ibis styles, which is very conveniently located near the old town and just a 10 minute walk to the Eurostar station. It is on a quiet back street so there were no problems with noise. The rooms are quite basic, but were very tidy and comfortable and great for our short stay. Breakfast was much better than expected and the staff were very keen to help. At this price we would definitely stay here again if revisiting Lille.

A great stay!
The location is fantastic as you’re on a quiet street that is on the edge of all of the main attractions so it’s easy to walk everywhere. The staff were really helpful and the accommodation was well maintained. There was a good selection of breakfast items and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A great stay!

Nice location as it’s 30 seconds from the centre square. Breakfast and room was satisfactory. The room was a little under cleaned, mainly in areas that you don’t see (under the bed for example). During our stay the hotel had issues where the fire alarm kept going off without cause, it happened when we were there 4 times in about 36 hours, including during the night. No one other than us actually evacuated, the staff didn’t say anything to us; we felt as though we were unnecessarily put at a huge risk. On 2 occasions the alarm went off when we were in bed in the morning (8am ish), we ran outside whilst breakfast was on and through the eating area in our new pyjamas - people were just sat eating whilst we stood outside alone, looking at us in our pyjamas like we were the idiots. Really worrying for us

Get what you pay for, mainly positives.
Generally clean and tidy. Fan provided in the room which was needed, they were stuffy. We had to have the window open which meant street noise was an issue. Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate.

Convenient Hotel
Superb location with just a 20 minute walk from the Eurostar station but a quiet back street situation. The staff were so welcoming and attentive to our requirements it was a real friendly atmosphere from the start. Breakfast was all you expect from a continental hotel and then some more. If we were to return to Lille this would be my hotel of choice to stay in.

Just a10/15 min walk from Lille Europe. Very clean room, a bit on the small side with limited storage for clothes, but perfect for a long weekend. Ensuite large with excellent lighting around mirror. Good shower & hairdryer. Lift small but fine for 2 people with small/medium suitcases. Breakfast was good. Cereal, fresh fruit, machine to make own fresh orange juice. Selection of breads, pastries, cheese, meat, yogurts, dried fruit. Coffee machine with tea, hot choc etc available all day. Would stay again if in area.

Central location, close to station
I did find the hotel difficult to find so would have appreciated a better downloadable map or just simple step by step directions. The accommodation was perfect for my needs. I had a small room on the sixth floor which was serviced by a lift (the level above was accessed via stairs). The room was small but clean, the shower worked perfectly. There was a plug-in mosquito repellant in the room which I didn't have to use until the end of my stay when a mozzie got in the room. It was very hot but at night and if you leave the windows open then the insects can get in...your dilemma. Breakfast (including in the cost of my stay) offered a great choice of hot drinks, fruit juice, cereal, range of breads, cheese, yoghurt, dried fruit, pastries, pancakes - almost anything you might want. Tea and coffee and is available in the foyer throughout the day (no facilities in room). I found a welcome bottle of water in my room each day. All the staff including cleaning and kitchen staff were friendly, helpful and polite. This is an ideal location for exploring Lille, with the Old Town right outside and the stations only 5-10 minutes walk away. Highly recommended and excellent value.

A really lovely stay in the ibis. Not having stayed before it was basic but very clean, a good breakfast although just cold platters. The staff were really hospitable, helpaul and always smiley. It is super central too but very quiet still. Thanks for a great stay!

Handy city centre hotel
Newly refurbished Ibis hotel which is ideal for a city break in Lille. I found the staff to be extremely helpful during my stay, offering advice about what to see in and around Lille. The room, whilst not overly spacious, is perfect for a short stay and I had a very comfortable bed. There was a very good breakfast on offer each morning which was included in the room price. I was able to leave my bag once I checked out in the morning as I had an evening Eurostar back to London.

Everything was fine but the WiFi on a higher floor (I was 6th floor I believe) was practically non-existent. I always had to come to the lobby to use the WiFi. Breakfast was great.

I was disappointed by my stay--I had booked into the Ibis Styles closer to the old town (Centre Grand Place) but turned up at the hotel to find that they'd instead put me in the Beffroi location. The hotel admitted it was their mistake but in their view, because the hotels are the same quality and condition, they refused to give me a discount. I was very unhappy because with budget hotels like this, the ONLY thing that matters is the location, and they changed my location without asking, without warning, and without offering any recompense.

Convenient & modern hotel with very good service!
A weekend in Lille for the Paris Roubaix Sportive. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff were approachable, helpful and spoke good english. I was pleased that they were able to accommodate my bike in a secure area and was accessible when needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent and regularly maintained. The hotel itself was ideal as it was close to Lille Eurostar (a short 10min walk), close to the centre for restaurants, shops and some tourist attractions and for reaching the Roubaix velodrome. From the hotel its about a 40min cycle, mainly on dedicated cycle paths. I had no issues with the surrounding neighborhood and the hotel is tucked away on quieter streets. But I had some minor complaints regarding my room but I didn't raise them. My original booking was for a standard double room, instead I was given a single room with a layout of the bathroom/shower on one floor and a short flight of steps to my bed area, initially I didn't mind but the sleeping area is small. It didn't help that the heating was on high making the room very warm. Having to go up and down the stairs soon become annoying and even more so after doing the Roubaix challenge. My final issue was with the shower, which kept leaking after use. The last thing you want to be doing is mopping up! Despite this I would return and recommend this Ibis but I would not let these complaints/issues be unaddressed again.
