My stay at Habitat Hotel was comfortable and just as I expected from the price for a 3-star hotel. My room was simple and complete, the front desk was very helpful in arranging taxis to and from the airport, and I was impressed by the complimentary breakfast (which included eggs, not just breads and juices!).
As noted by others, the adjoining building is under construction, and you can definitely hear noise during the day, but I slept fine with earplugs (you are in a city on a busy street, after all). I stayed at Habitat at the beginning AND end of my trip to Peru, and I was quite content to come back to this hotel and its location after moving around the country.
