very nice guys (: the place is cool and chill but quite simple so have your own towel, soap, padlock, etc. my luggage had been lost by the airline so had to wait to take my first shower. dormitory ok, no curtains on windows. shower could be a bit cleaner and some light bulbs replaced, shower curtains. breakfast consista of a cafe/tea and two slices of soft bread with butter and jam, efficient :) anyway, i would go again because it’s enough for me, it’s well located and the guys are friendly!

Had the WORST experience at nomande, the nightmare began from the moment we arrived. As per booking.com listing, we were supposed to be able to pay with our credit card (I specifically booked places that we can pay with card since we didnt want to carry too much cash with us)...well as soon as we arrived we were notified that their machine isnt working....and we have to pay with cash. This ultimately had us paying more for our accomodations due to withdraw charges and the conversion. The room was DISGUSTING, the washroom smelled and everything was super damp (even the bed). You just felt dirty all the time at this hostel. And the icing on the cake was during checkout when we almost missed our flight to Cusco because the person working there couldnt get us a proper cab - to this day I still dont know where things went wrong. We requested a cab at 12pm, we were told it will be 30 min..after which time he said 10 min more....12:45 and still no cab (our flight was at 3pm). He then told us it will be 10 more minutes to which I said was way too late and they need to call us another one...he then said the cab cant come to the hostel and we should walk 20 min to meet the cab. which is the dumbest thing ever!..why would we want to walk 20 min with all our luggage? Especially when we are already running behind? Anyway at the end we had to flag down a cab on our own at the last minute, made it to the airport 1hr prior to our flight thanks to the cab driver who took many short cuts!

Mildew central

The most mildew I have ever smelled in a room. Staff was friendly, but everything we had smelled like mildew after we left. Breakfast was a simple toast and jam with fresh tea.

My stay was great. Staff was accommodating. The location is great. Not too far from the airport, and close walking distance to all sorts of food, fun, and shops.

MALA EXPERIENCIA

La hostal tiene buena ubicación pero sus instalaciones están sucias, húmedas, sin servicios básicos como calefacción, el internet wifi no llega a todos los pisos. La ropa de cama sucia, las cortinas de las ventanas sucias. Las ventanas no cierran del todo, el desayuno es malo, y poco.

Not what I was expecting based on pictures. The staff is very friendly and helps you with things to do in Lima, but I wasn't as impressed with the room and overall stay. Bathrooms weren't very clean and the rooms were musky and somewhat clean. Breakfast was not included but you could pay for something off the menu. One set of outlets to share for the while dorm. Place to store bags in the dorms and outside in the lobby area for after checkout if needed.

Okay hostel whilst traveling through Lima

I think the beds could of been cleaner (doubt if the linen was changed frequently. Overall is okay hostel with basics.
