"Our room, 29, was nice and modern. The wind was noisy overnight though and the heating made all sorts of noises, plus the bed wasn't the most comfortable, so I didn't sleep well. However, breakfast was good and the location next to the Causeway was excellent as you don't have to pay in. An upgraded mattress and heating would have made my rating 5*."

"The staff were fantastic. Couldn’t fault them and they were always very helpful. Since Galgorm have taken over and made it ‘family friendly’ it has turned tacky. They need to either revamp and modernise the hotel for family’s and kids or else reinstate it to its former glory. A helter skelter in the car park, a bouncy castle in one of the large rooms make it feel like a very expensive kids adventure play area. £500 for 2 nights and not stated anywhere that the main bar is closed and only a ‘pop up’ bar with 2 beers on draft and a few spirits. It’s sad to see such an amazing place go downhill so much "

"The breakfast while there was a lovely selection the staff were very slow to replenish items that had run out , but helpfull wen pointed out , we were room 254 which was a corner room and quite cramped other wise everything was grand Christine at reception is a valuable asset to the hotel and companion I wud stay again only not in this room , the plus side was we were able to get into the room earlier thank you x"
