"While this was a comfortable place to stay, because of what it was - an old gaol - it wouldn’t be for everyone. We slept in a cell which was well heated and had a comfortable bed, a toilet and hand basin. We enjoyed our stay, but don’t go there if you’re looking for luxury."

"A short getaway to play golf & relax in the quiet surrounds of the Fleurieu.
Enjoyed great round of golf… greens were in magnificent condition. The local kangaroos were not at all perturbed by our presence… we also dined at the restaurant one night… fresh seafood. Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend."
"Our room had a panoramic view over much of the golf course, which is beautifully designed and maintained. Even had a game (9 holes) though we are definitely not golfers!

"We loved everything about this place. The room was huge, with a kitchenette and fantastic views over the lake. There was a back door that opened onto a big lawned area that led down to the lake, which was perfect for our dog.

We were extremely happy with our dinner, best chicken Parma, and the chicken kebab was an absolute show stopper! Could not fault a single thing, highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Mount Gambier"
