"We were travelling with our dog and so needed a hotel that was pet friendly. The room we were given had an incredibly offensive scent (very strong room deodorizer attempting, unsuccessfully, to mask dog urine). I will add that when addressed with staff they very quickly moved us to another room. Nothing bad to stay about the desk clerks, they were both great.
I would suggest not putting carpeting in rooms designated for people travelling with pets. "
