"Really helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great location, upgraded rooms were good, lovely bar and outdoor terrace and we enjoyed an hour in the spa (N.B. not obvious when I booked the hotel but this is £10 extra per person for an hour and must be booked). Breakfast was good, only minor issue were the undercooked boiled eggs but there was plenty of other choice."

"We had an issue with the shower head hose, but asked for maintenance to sort it. Which they did promptly which was very nice. The ac didnt work our entire 5 day stay, which was very unfortunate, as it was incredibly hot. We did not eat at the property, can not review that aspect. Their were little cleaning things that could be attended to, such as someone hung banners in our room, and they could have been taken down entirely instead of leaving staples and buts of paper on the walls. The bin bags for the garbage cans are very small, and you cant out much in them before the bin bag falls inside. The tip outside was over flowing, with many pallets laying about. Which was unfortunate. But what can you do when you get a large delivery. Still a nice friendly place to stay."

"The room was clean spacious and with a huge comfortable bed, the hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful. The problem came in the restaurant. We ordered a steak that was delivered to the wrong table. Once the waitress realised she told us there were no more steaks left but she could give us the steak that had been given to the wrong table as the person had not eaten any of it just cut it up!! After being shocked by her suggestion we refused that and she said well youll just have to order something else then really abruptly as if we were putting her out. We decided it was time to leave then and bought a takeaway locally and ate in our room."
