"It's not a perfect place, there's no pool, the ice machine was broken, but the staff were super nice and the room was clean. The beds are comfortable and I believe that's the most important thing when you need a place to sleep on the road. Very happy with the place and will definitely come back on our next trip."
"The room was so beautifully designed and decorated. We played games in the yard, walked around the property had amazing hand crafted drinks at the bar and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The TV had Roku, so when we finally went back to the room it was easy to watch from any streaming app. We woke up to breakfast at the door in a retro Stanley lunchbox with a thermos full of coffee. It was very clean and everyone that worked there was helpful and kind."
"We came to De Leon for a short, overnight stay. Like other reviews stated, the room was basic and clean. The air condition was nice and cold during these June high temperatures. The lady at the desk was nice and helpful. When we had trouble turning on the TV she came to our room and got it going. I would stay again for another short overnight stay."
"We were greeted warmly by the front desk each time we came into the hotel. We visited on an extremely busy weekend for this property and everything was perfect!"
"We stayed here when our niece graduated from Tarleton. The room was bigger than expected and the bed was comfortable. Our hosts were lovely and’s I wish we could’ve stayed a little longer. I definitely recommend staying here and I will again if we are ever in the area."
"The room was clean and you could tell they have updated it. The LED lighting around the bathroom mirror was a +! The room had actual cable TV. The staff were friendly and accommodating!"
"I read the reviews on the hotel and they were not so good...but, they were back from the Covid era....just stayed there and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for the price....A/C worked TV worked refrig in the room.....On the con side, most of the plugs in the room didn't work but enough did that we managed....bathroom was spotless with nice towels....The night host and the morning host were very cordial and helpful....parking lot could use some tidying up but that's outside.....Rooms enter from interior hallway with decent carpet.
All in all, I would return without hesitation."
