Hotels near Lion's Beach

"Everyone was very friendly and drink prices were very fair. Food on the property was also good. The property is older lacking elevators in buildings so the third floor got tiresome. The main building(lobby, bars, gym, and restaurants) had no functioning Air conditioning. The beach is on the Atlantic side and was full of seaweed."

"This hotel is in walking distance to Timothy Beach, a grocery store, bakery, and several restaurants. We had a large group with 3 separate rooms, which were fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The stay was fine except the mold/mildew smell. We switched to 3 different 100-level rooms and they all had the same smell, so there is either water infiltration or a poor exhaust system in these rooms. However, our family who stayed in a 500-level suite did not have this issue. "

"Off season is not the time to stay here. It is also in a residential area away from the other resorts."

"We had a great view and spacious room in the 2 bedroom. However we did not realize that this was more of an apartment than a hotel, so available services were minimal. The restaurant was closed on Tuesdays and we arrived on a Monday - so no coffee to speak of in room. The restaurant was kind enough to give us enough to make a pot the next morning. We did not use the pools, but they look very different (gray not blue) than the pictures. All in all, would be a good place for a family to stay for a week at the beach (bring groceries), less so for a couple looking for a romantic hotel."

"Rooms were clean and spacy; resort was close to the beach with many bars and restaurants along the shore to chose from. Towels, padded chairs and umbrellas were provided for the beach at no cost. Taxi's to take you to Basseterre or other places of the Islands were easily available."

"Lovely little cottage and wonderful restaurant and staff. We knew booking there was no pool; planned on ocean swims but water wasn’t very clear and did not appear clean. There are better places to stay at similar price but enjoyed experience. "

"this is the most spectacular but understated resort. Noreen and Christina took care of our every need. Food was excellent The view is worth a million and you can enjoy it from the room dining on the terrace or swimming in the pool "
