"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not only clean but smelled clean too. The parking which allowed you to park where you wanted was another big plus. Honestly we just loved everything about the Waves and the setting and the town. We would come again and highly recommend staying here"
"Had a lovely stay at the Comfort Inn All Seasons. It was only overnight, and booked at the last minute, but the staff were super helpful, the room was easy to find, it was beauitifully clean, and the bed was soooo very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again and hopefully next time for more than a short overnight stay so I can enjoy Ballina."
"Our room was spacious and reasonably well maintained however the walls are not sound proofed - we were "treated" to loud conversations late on our first night and again at 5.30am the following morning! Thankfully they left that day.
We thought this motel was closer to the CBD with bars/cafes/restaurants but it is 1.3 kms which meant every time we went out, we needed to take the car.
The bed was comfortable enough but it was an old style mattress, which meant every time one of us turned over the whole bed shook!
It was good enough for our purposes but wr wouldn't stay again."
"Great family friendly spot, has all the essential amenities needed. Sadly some of the other DP guests were noisy and not considerate of the park rules during the night."
Ballina Byron Islander Resort and Conference Centre
10/10 Excellent
"We were so warmly welcomed by the lovely couple on reception yesterday evening - it was a great start to our stay. We both slept well. We will be back for sure (when next back in Oz!)
Thank you xx"
"The Sebel Hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were especially friendly and welcoming, and Marzia has a beautiful smile and wonderful energy that made my stay even more enjoyable.
The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job throughout my stay. One of the best features of the hotel is its location—the beach is only a five-minute walk away, and the town center is just around the corner.
I also hiked to the lighthouse, which is about a 45-minute walk to the top and well worth it if you’re reasonably fit. The views are spectacular.
I would definitely recommend The Sebel Hotel to anyone visiting the area."
