"If you want to step back in time, a beautiful beach and just relax, this is the place. Good food and drink. Resort is not pretentious and no vip areas that are off limits. Friendly and happy place. Have been four times and is our perfect unwind resort."

"This is my third trip to Jamaica and first at Royalton . I was here for a wedding and I had so much fun, the room was super clean and beautifully set up. The staff were excellent, we were greeted with drinks when we arrived and they took care of us right away. I spent 3 days and every morning I woke up with a beautiful sunrise over the ocean. I didn’t use the spa because I was busy with the wedding. The food was delicious, with many varieties and the staff there were very nice. The adults’ side is very quiet and laid back, it is somewhere to unwind while the family side is very upbeat. This resort is highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our week-long stay. The staff was friendly, and the property was clean and well maintained. There were a few minor issues: a water leak from the ceiling in the stairwell that looked like it was getting worse during our visit, a safe that didn't work consistently, and TVs with poor sound projection that could use replacing. Otherwise, I can't complain. The bed was comfortable, and the food and views were phenomenal. One tip: book tours and taxis through the front desk, since they use reputable companies, rather than going with someone you meet on the beach. I would highly recommend this resort!"

"The Azul is a wonderful property on excellent beach front "7 mile beach Nigril". The staff, cleansiness of the Property were great. There is activities for all age to enjoy. I first encountered a long 1.5 hours wait time to get my room. We were disappointed with the food selection. Very little authenticity of the Jamaican food basic "jerk chicken". Quality of food was poor. Staff in all the departs I encountered were welcoming pleasant and accommodating. Management address the meals, good food is key to a great vacation."
