"Staff at check in was very nice. Valet service was great in taking our luggage to our room. Parking was convenient. I had a 2 bdrm 2 bth suite the setup was perfect the balcony was a side view. TV in each room, bathrooms were clean except for the roaches crawling on the floor in both bathrooms and in the kitchen. The kitchen counter was taped up with duct tape and wasn’t holding anymore and the piece under the counter was just hanging. Also the toilet next to the kitchen we had to shake the handle to stop it from running. We complained about the roaches and the microwave. John from maintenance who was very nice came up and sprayed. The microwave wouldn’t get hot, so John also brought up a microwave for us to use."

"We had driven for two days and were a little upset when we got there our room not ready at 3pm. Even at 4 PM regular check-in time they’re still not ready so that was just exhausting. Finally, we got into our room and it was a nice room with a gorgeous view over the next five days that we stay there a couple things stood out to me. The staff and workers were all great very nice including Jimmya Denise. Connie. Everybody was very helpful delivered extra blankets because it was a cold week, but there were some things that were too bad. The swimming pools were freezing cold and basically unusable. The weather was running between 40 and 60° and even the indoor pool was freezing, so my kids were unable to enjoy the pool, which is one of the reasons why we booked the hotel another thing that was very difficult was the elevator continue to break down on the entire time we were there and we were at the bar and of a long hallway on the sixth floor with a dog that had to be brought out every few hours so going up and down the flight upstairs was exhausting and they kept telling us they were getting the elevator fixed, but then it would break down the same day again! I will have to say that we will definitely be back to Myrtle Beach, but unfortunately, we will not be booking with this resort. We did have the chance to eat at ocean blue the food was very good. We were one of the only people eating in there so we were served very fast but it is pricey! Floating river a joke."

"When we first arrived it took forever to check in. When we finally got our room key and walked over to our building the hallways we gross! Looks like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a week! The rooms were filthy! The ceiling fans had about a quarter inch of black grime on it. Pictures over the bed looked like kids hocked loogies on them! I had to have them send someone up (not even the same day to come clean). They never one came to clean or empty the garbage. They gave us towels, but wrapped in a garbage bag thrown outside our room. Parking was terrible! The place was very dated and needs an overhaul badly! Even after my complaint and them cleaning there was zero follow-up. My bathroom door had a hole in it, the shower knob came off, the room divider was torn, and out door did not close properly! I had to throw my body weight into it! The pool, hot tub, and lazy river need to be drained and cleaned properly as they were filthy."
