The only thing I would point out is the Massive Pot Hole at the carpark entrance, it was covered by a puddle so I never saw it. Needs fixing

Cumbria Park Hotel
Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice on the buffet, plus homemade bread, which was a welcome bonus. Only negative was lukewarm water in the shower, it was alright from the basin tap, so maybe a faulty shower mixer.

Crown and Mitre Hotel
We were grateful and impressed that a staff member came down to open the gate to the car park in Storm Amy. The hotel decor is charmingly period, the room was comfortable and warm, the bar was pleasant.

The Halston
Excellent property. Exceptionally clean, great customer service and The Penny Blue Restaurant, Bar and Breakfast were all 5 star. Our rooms were great too, cannot fault The Halston.

The New Inn 1730

The Old Wool House Apartments
This apartment is a lovely place to stay when visiting Carlisle and the communication from Joanne was excellent. Also it is on a quiet street with parking normally available almost right outside. Top notch all round
