"This place has great potential. The impressive size of the apartment and two-level interiors are impressive. Good localization. Unfortunately, the level of maintenance and very low. See the pictures. If the owner pays more attention to details I would rate it really high. "

"Great property that was reasonably priced all within walking distance to the Old Town and the major tourist attractions. Good variety at breakfast. The room i had was great although the aircon was a bit noisy at times - it could have been what i set it to as we dont have aircon where i am from! "

"Great place to stay, 5 minutes from the train and coach station and 5 minutes from the old town. Its more like a hotel than a hostel as my en suite room was great. Communication from the staff was great and even though they are not there 24/7, its easy to contact them. Will 100% stay here again"

"We loved this location and our room. We had stayed a few nights at another hotel in Vilnius city center, but when our trip was extended by one day we chose to shift to Domus Maria for our last night. Perhaps partly because of its history as a monastery, it had a very peaceful aura. I would have loved to have stayed there our whole visit. It is also very close to a number of good restaurants and cafes on the end of Old Town Vilnius nearest to Gate of Dawn and the train station. Domus Maria is RIGHT next to the St. Teresa church, which is also lovely and peaceful."

Practical Perks

"This is a great place to stay if you have a very late arrival or a very early departure flight because they have a 24-hour reception desk. Staff is very helpful if you need a 3 am ride to the airport. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Traveling as 2 friends, we were abl to get a room with 2 twin beds. Bathroom had a bathtub, which feels like a divine indulgence to me as someone from drought-prone California. Hotel is steps away from Vilnius park and a 5-minute walk to the tourist information office/heart of old town. Maybe 8 minute walk to Cathedral Square. There is a Europecar meet and greet rental hub about a 1-mile walk away if you need a car, but don't need it right when you land at the airport. There are also CityBee cars close by if you just need a car for a day trip. Mabre Hotel is on a high traffic street, but it calmed by 11pm and the windows dramatically dampened the sound if i closed them. I am very noise sensitive, and I had no trouble sleeping from traffic. --though earplugs were helpful for the in-room mini fridge (which i made very good use of bc I'm too frugal to pay for breafast). Aesthetics of the room were meh, but the bedroom and bathroom were surprisingly spacious for the price. So if you are a function over form person, this is a very practical choice. :)"
