"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! "We only stayed 1 night as stop over on the way to Rome. Good thing we planned to arrive early and enjoyed the pool and nearby beach. For dinner we went to the grocery in the nearby town and cooked our meal in the apartment, it has everything we needed to cook, plates and silverware, dishwasher and everything needed to cleanup was provided."

"Appartment-Anlage im 70er jahre Stil. Preis-Leistung sehr ok. Schöne Lage im Ort, 10 min zum Strand, Metzger und Bäcker direkt vor der Tür, besser gehts gar nicht ! Der Ort ist typisch italienisch .. bunt, laut, Musik, Familien .. man muss es mögen, uns es hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Bilderbuch-Toskana um Bolgheri ist nur 15 min Autofahrt entfernt !"

"I would not recommend this hotel for Americans. There were a lot of rules and restrictions. We thought we would enjoy the very nice looking pool but you had to wear a bathing cap and it closed at 7 pm ! The hotel was geared towards families with young children. While the room was clean, it smelled very strongly of disinfectant. We had to make our own beds with linens they provided. The area is wonderful with the beach so close but I would not recommend this accommodation. "

"Our room was very big and comfortable! The hotel is at walking distance from the Marina di Cecina beach and from the bars/restaurants along the sea. The parking was included and was so handy, it's not easy to find parking in the area. The personnel was very kind and attentive, it's been a relaxing stay! There was a good choice for breakfast with average quality. There's a swimming pool with sunbed but we didn't go as we preferred the sea, but it's a good alternative for small kids."

"This place should be calle Miramosquito instead of Miramare. This is an outright camp site. And the reality is that you should be prepared to deal with the huge insects that feast on your blood. Bring your bug spray. Overall, the bungalow it self was basic and clean but way too many bugs And unfortunately, the beach is rocky and though the view of the Mediterranean is enticing, the fact that the bungalow lacks screens and air conditioning makes it very uncomfortable to stay in. "10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
