Top Llandrindod Wells Hotel Reviews

The Lowfield Inn
8/10 Good
"I have to say that the staff were super friendly and very welcoming, not only the bar staff but also the breakfast chef and even the cleaner! The inn was situated in a nice out of town area surrounded by fields. There is a business nextdoor but there was no overnight noise from it. The food and the beer were amazing too. I would thoroughly recommend the basque cheesecake! Could it have been a bit cleaner? Well the carpet in the room could have been vacuumed better but it wasn't awful, just a couple of bits here and there, everything else in the room was spotless. The shower wanted to be hotter than I like but had I been staying with my wife she would have loved it so it's down to personal choice. I stayed in Horse and it was huge! (The room not the horse)."

Wellington
10/10 Excellent
"We had a courtyard room which was very comfortable & clean. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Always enjoy our stays at the Wellington"

Lake Country House Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill you can hear the thumping when in the hot tub. Not very relaxing"

The Corners Inn

The Royal Oak Hotel, Welshpool, Mid Wales
8/10 Good
"Clean room comfortable bed. Tea coffee and biscuits provided and bottled water by bedside. Didn’t eat at hotel as out and didn’t book Breakfast as only staying one night. Pleasantly surprised and can see hotel has been refurbished. Would stay again if needed room in that area. More information could be provided on parking and where to access barrier before arrival That would help"

The Hafod Hotel

"Staff helpful, clean rooms, beautiful breakfast"

Llangoed Hall
10/10 Excellent
"This is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful building designed before WW1 by Clough Williams-Ellis, who also designed Portmeirion. Perfect for anyone who loves the grandeur of an Edwardian country house hotel set in gently rolling hills. The rooms are beautiful - try and get one in the original house rather than the extension - and the public rooms are large and elegant, filled with antiques and fine paintings. The staff were lovely and friendly, too. The only downside was that the food could have been better, but maybe I just made poor decisions! This hotel is without doubt a haven of peace!"

The Riverside at Aymestrey
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent place to stay with dogs as you are self contained with an area to walk them away from the main road. Facilities good, we had a lovely garden cottage - only downside are the doors are built for hobbits (I’m a little over 5ft and had no issues, 6ft + hubby cracked his head once…"
