The lady on reception was wonderful I really must say we were extremely lucky to get a parking bay, we paid a very modest price for the room so we were pretty apprehensive as to what to expect. The Hotel was wonderfully situated on the sea front the reception area was very inviting our room was very spacious the en- suite too. Overall a very,very wonderful experience and we most definitely will return😁

The reception and restaurant were great, visually excellent, clean tidy and the food was excellent however, once passed the he reception the hotel looked quite warm down and although the room was ok (view was excellent), it did look very tired and the shower in bathroom looked awful. Although the front of the hotel is excellent the tired rear lets it down.

Rooms are nice and big. The carpets are heavily stained and dirty. Staff were okay, nothing bad but nothing wow. Bar staff was nice. Restaurant looked lush. Location is perfect. Breakfast was very expensive so went out for it.

Stayed 1 night with my husband and 6 year old daughter. Lovely clean hotel Poilte staff Nothing is too much for them. I asked for an iron and hairdryer, within minutes it was at my door!!! Nice touch with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. Very close to all local amenities Shame they were fully booked or I would have stayed another night.

Lovely hotel with modern decor and clean facilities with complimentary water, tea and biscuits in the room each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended a few things to do with our daughter. We didn't have breakfast during our stay as we wanted to try some cafes nearby but the restaurant and breakfast area looked lovely. They allowed us to store our luggage both when we arrived and on our last day which we appreciated. The hotel is well situated right in the central area of the town in walking distance to the beach, the pier and shops. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location on the beach front was fabulous and close to all the shops and amenities. My top floor room was very comfortable and warm with views across the bay. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. Great it has a small car park too.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet. All the staff were friendly and really helpful. Hotel restaurant The Goat served excellent food in a modern environment. We left two items behind in our room and we were phoned about it; they kept them safe until we collected them.

Such a fantastic hotel, we will definitely be returning! Lovely room in a fantastic location. The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was just fantastic! The staff were friendly and so helpful and the bar area was beautiful. We had a lovely family break here and would definitely recommend it!

A very average hotel. Reasonably clean and the staff were friendly and polite. The room was tired with no recent repair and maintenance apparent. The wallpaper was peeling off our room wall in a number of places. There was no air conditioning although there was a temperature control on the wall, albeit with the relevant buttons removed. The window had to be propped open with a block of wood. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The evening meal was variable with less than brilliant service. On ordering drinks, we asked the young lady for some water to be brought. It never appeared. So, when the food was brought by a different person, we asked again for some water. Again, it never arrived. When our plates were being cleared away, they clearly remembered and brought one. Quite what we were supposed to do with a carafe of water when we were getting yup to leave, I am not too sure. Food quality was variable. I had pork belly with a fennel salad in a wholegrain mustard sauce on one night and it was good although the plate was swimming in sauce. On day 2, I asked if the burger was home made on the premises and was assured that it was. Whether it was or not, I cannot be certain, but it certainly did not look like a home made burger. It resembled standard Birds Eye: nothing at all like the burgers made with genuine minced beef. Furthermore it was swimming in grease. My wife had a chicken burger which was or seemed to be deep g=fried and was as hard as a bullet.
