We found room 103 had a shower door which wouldn't close and had a note saying so.Furniture tired .chipped and wardrobe doors failing.Portable heater broken .Radiators off .Only controlled from reception thermostat.Pillow on bed thick with dust.Took pillow and heater to reception.towel rail hanging off wall.Otherall paintwork tired.Needs renovation. Dust in corners ,stains on stool/pillows.No wifi in rooms only in reception. Bathroom very cramp.Spare blankets would have been a good addition for room. Staff and breakfast absolutely fine.View was great.

Perfect location for Venue Cymru, parking £2:60 for the day outside hotel 4pm - 10am. Nice hotel, staff lovely 💖 basic family room, clean (smelt a little damp). Dylan’s, The Goat and Wetherspoons within 5 mins walk. Very nice continental breakfast, didnt expect eggs on toast which was an added bonus 😃 would stay again for £80 family room! X

Just one disadvantage is the access for disabled people i am disabled as is my wife a ramp to the main entrance would help this just isn't for the iris hotel but a lot of other hotels in llandudno overall we had a wonderful stay and will be recommending the iris to my family and friends. The staff were polite and helpful very good

Stayed in annex at rear of property so can’t review main hotel, but place looked tired( marks and dents in wall, curtains just about hanging on in there and floodlight up stairs not working). Shower brilliant but couldn’t turn heating off and it was on 24/7 so had to have window open fully day and night.Breakfast basic buffet and weirdly could only order eggs and toast for warm food but all cooked nice and staff were always pleasant and welcoming.
