We likes nothing about this hotel, the windows had mouldy frames as did the shower.

Don’t think I would stay there again
Hotel needs some improvement in the rooms .. pictures hanging off the walls and left on floor ! Shower needs a good clean as there was black mould in the tiling .. the staff are friendly and the breakfast was good .. had problems with tv as it kept losing signal ..
Shower did not work probably, no bedside lamps, bed wS hard and uncomfortable, service at reception was very poor and could not find parking on road for miles.took monies off my account an hour before arrival time
DO NOT BOOK HERE! Our room was extremely small for a family of 3. Shower had mold in it. Room was dirty. Door had obviously been crowbar-ed open in the past, was very damaged around the lock. We'd read bad reviews of this hotel and booked a room elsewhere, however, could not cancel this one, so we still checked in to see if it was acceptable. It was not. Hotel owner refused to let us check out the same day we checked in, we turned in our keys, stated we were checking out, he refused to issue a receipt acknowledging our check out and rudely argued with me in the lobby. This hotel is bad news, avoid at all costs.
When you entered the reception it was light & airey, very bling/chic, with leopard skin chaise lounge, ornate gold mirrors, chandeliers, gold elephants and a zebra skin rug...
Unfortunately after first impressions everything else was downhill. The receptionists lack of training was obvious, this was the last minute stay of our honeymoon. My wife is deaf & has a small hearing/assistance dog, which was stated in advance on booking. Despite the dog wearing full uniform we were told NO DOGS SORRY! after explaining she is an assistance dog we were reluctantly signed in. Having seen the photo's of the bedrooms on the website we expected to be shown similar bedrooms. We were led to a gate at the top of the cellar stairs which said 'staff only & down a dismal, dirty staircase, to a fire door and a small service area with a sink (staff quarters) The room was a single with a double bed scrammed into it, there was barely enough room to walk around the bed. the en-suite was pathetic, the door banged against the toilet when you walked in and you had to manouver yourself around the door to get to the shower which was approximately 2ft high off the ground and incorporated a hand made wooden step which was unstable and dangerous, the doors of the shower on the corner which made it almost impossible to get into, obviously this not been checked by the proper author. Breakfast first impressions - mouldy bread for the toaster... disgusting & abysmal, are just two words i'd use!
Towels were changed regularly bed linen was not changed while we are there the wash basin in the bathroom had a metal plug I.e metal to metal does not stop water running away what a waste generally
We thought hotel looked tired the needed upgrading to large size did not fit body also the shower was to high could not reach without standing on tip toes also shower very cold

One night stay.
Room was clean if not a little outdated.
Bed was comfortable.
In the outside annex which was ideal until tried to get back in and door had been deadbolted and I had to wait for someone to come and open it.
Great staff, both on the desk and at breakfast (which was included in the price). Sadly no lift but room was very clean with a view over the rooftops if the sea. Overall a pleasant couple of days.

Faulty towers
The hotel is Very tired and needs a good decorating, plug was too small for plug hole in basin, showere head kept falling off its bodged wall holder, so had to hold it, whilst showering... on the plus side the sheets / towels were nice and clean. Plenty of tea and coffee etc.
Very small room, no Wi-fi on 2nd floor, no bacon at breakfast, awful looking scrambled egg so we left without eating breakfast........in a B&B !!!
60’s decor literally, shabby but not chic. Broken toilet seat.
Not recommended if you are at all discerning.
Sadly others have said the same but you continue to advertise this place, shameful.
Excellent welcome, loved the room, the best family roo m we have stayed in in in britain.
The breakfast was ok disappointed with eggs option obviously microwaved egg, personally prefer meatier sausages.
Having given notice in advance wouldnt have taken much to offer gluten free cereal, bread or extra hot item on cooked (couldnt eat hash browns or sausage).
Finally bit of wire connecting plug to chain, shower curtain too short for shower and shower hose pipe needing attention. Niggly but have to explain why not excellent.
Staff, room and venue would make this a first choice again

Llandudno Hotel
Nice hotel clean, staff all friendly and welcoming . . Only negative comment shower very poor. Slow water running needs a upgrade .
Had a lovely, quirky room with a sea view. Really nice touches such as the free bakewells in reception. Kids loved the Hotel - very impressed with the bunk beds and chandeliers. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly staff. Only small disappointment was was I would have preferred butter at breakfast. I’m sorry to be picky but love good butter.
Using a paper reservations system doesn’t work. Didn’t have my reservation, 15 minutes to sort and find. Bed worn and on the verge of breaking I’d say, 50s kitsch furniture and holes in the towels. Time slots for breakfast, as I got a late one (930!! Great for holidaymakers but not for workers) the choice was very limited. It’s off the list.

Wonderful but tired
Great place. Great service. Great breakfast. Shame about the window letting in rain and broken bed.
I booked on Expedia and turned up to find this had not been processed
I feel I had a narrow escape as the hotel was in the Basil Faulty Towers era

Close to the beach but...
Nice pleasant friendly and helpful staff, sorted a room to meet my physical limitations, however the bed was really uncomfortable and im disappointed to have to say I wouldn’t be able to stay here again. Was great price but I guess it’s true that you get what you pay for. The all you could eat buffet breakfast was disappointing, there was no bacon and nothing for my daughter to eat. The room wasn’t very well tidied, there was rubbish under the bed including a water bottle. I told the staff on duty and it was still there when we left the next day. Only stayed one night, I couldn’t have stayed any longer. Oh and the walk in shower was a foot off the floor!!!! As stated earlier I’m physically limited so had to wait for a shower

After seeing lots of bad reviews was pleasantly surprised, room was clean just a little out dated in the hotel in general.
My stay here was great and was due to a huge effort by Amber, because your company, despite my paying you and you confirming the booking, failed to pass on my details to the hotel. This meant that my arrival with my grandson was quite traumatic as accommodation in Llandudno was at a premium, and we had nowhere to stay. Amber however, made extensive enquiries on our behalf, the upshot of which that she managed to get us a room in the hotel. Many thanks Amber. Needless to remark, I will never use Expedia again.
I would recommend this hotel, it's very friendly, clean and convenient with good facilities.
