While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. "First impressions when i parked up and looked at the building was that it looked tired and in need of some tlc, when entering the reception area it was immaculately clean and bright with welcoming friendly helpful staff. Walking to my room i was impressed by the dining area and bar. My room was spotless and very comfortable with the best blackout curtains. Very impressed with the room but a personal preference would have been to be on the first floor. All the staff were excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. I will definately stay again and hopefully enjoy just as much."

"Lovely room overlooking the canal. Fantastic spa facilities and wonderful facial by Sian yesterday albeit the neck and shoulder massage was too light for me and like it a lot deeper. Food good other than the calamari on the spa day which you couldn’t really taste (far too small better off having just a couple of whole pieces). Cod is beer batter absolutely delicious. Chips not so much. Would highly recommend especially the spa, definitely one of the best I’ve been to. I will for sure be going back there again"
