"Arrived and no one had any idea which tent we were supposed to be in. Originally taken to one that had no made beds, litter, broken chairs and an inflatable dirty lazy spa (advised as a hot tub). Then got told to my relief wasn’t our tent. Instead we were taken to another tent that was transparent in a small field squished in with another 5-6 tents and had a dirty deflated paddling pool in the centre. "Lovely stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Property is in excellent condition and very comfortable. Didn't like chipped plates, lack of bin bags and tea towels. Outside area needs some attention "

"We had a lovely stay at Plas Y Bryn Manor. It’s a beautiful old building with lots of character, once home to David Lloyd George, one of the UK’s former prime ministers. From the moment we arrived, our host gave us a really warm welcome and shared a bit about the history, which made it feel extra special. The breakfast staff were all so friendly and polite. The complementary breakfast was a highlight – it felt really social sitting around a long antique table in the main reception hall. The location is perfect too: peaceful and quiet with stunning mountain views, and you can even see the water in the distance. There’s plenty to do nearby as well. We came for the Menai Food Festival and the next day went cycling around Anglesey, which was brilliant. All in all, it’s a great mix of history, comfort, and incredible scenery – a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway."

"Good hotel if a bit dated. No fridge or air conditioner in room which during this spell of hot weather could have been very beneficial. When I requested a room with air con we were told they didn’t have any but were moved to a larger room on request. No issues or additional cost for the change."

"Comfortable room, really lovely lady checked me in. It was noisy at closing time (people outside) but that's out of the hotel's control - the room was above a pub, so to be expected. Clean, nice cup of tea, lovely shower - it was a comfortable room and I will definitely book again for future trips."

"It was a really nice older property. The staff were all lovely and helpful, they had suggestions of where to go and what to see. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The dining room, was roomy and had a great views. We had dinner there a couple of nights, although there wasn't a massive choice, we enjoyed what we ordered. The room was nice and clean, but a bit dated. It really is in a great location. Very easy for Anglesey."
