"We had a lovely stay, the place was nice, it was close to some lovely walks on the beach and in nature parks. We liked our hot tub but it was just a tad too hot and it wouldn’t cool down with the controls, we even left the top open and it stayed at 40 degrees, we couldn’t stay in for very long. The shower was either boiling or freezing but we still enjoyed and can’t wait to go back some day :)"

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"We had a wonderful stay at The Boathouse! The location on the river and just a short walk from the city walls was absolutely perfect. No AC in the midst of a heatwave, but the open windows cooled the room down quite a bit. We loved the boathouse decor and our room felt so comfy and cozy. Staff were great and helpful. Breakfast was great and included our choice of a hot meal. It was also great to be able to keep our car there for a few hours after check out to spend some more time exploring the city. Chester is so beautiful!"
