"We had a fantastic stay at the hotel while visiting with my son. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made such a lovely first impression. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with plenty of well-placed sockets to dry and style my hair — something that makes a real difference and is often overlooked. The tv was well placed and had plenty of streaming choices. There were a few nice touches like complimentary water in the room and in reception and lots of choices of hot drinks. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast. There was a fantastic choice, everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and felt very well looked after throughout. A lovely hotel with excellent facilities, wonderful staff and a fantastic breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Yak & Yeti, the room was clean. Furniture could do with an update as it was showing signs of wear and tear, loose handles for instance and creaky doors. Bathroom was clean although the grout was also showing signs of mould creeping in. Money has been spent on new brassware but maybe a little more investment would really lift the lovely spaces the property has. Overall a good experience and would return. Staff were very professional and were happy to help if needed"

"The staff were helpful, the rooms are dated but are spacious and clean, we couldn’t find any reviews about the food, we had our evening meal here and the food was excellent and highly recommend dining here, the breakfast buffet was excellent"
