"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. Hotel prices were sky high, nearly all had over doubled in price, some asking £400+. Than out of the blue I find this beauty..... Absolutely stunning views as far as the eye can see all round. "The property is in a beautiful location, the views from the garden are incredible. The facilities are all as mentioned, the hot tub was well maintained and a real luxury. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but in a rural location in great weather we didn’t spend much time on the house. The gardens are great and the land around is all accessible along with the animals on the farm. There are a few other properties in the same location and you have a neighbour directly next door to the farm...

"Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space "

"We stayed for a week in the lodge and enjoyed every minute. The accommodation has everything you will need for a stress free holiday,very close to wonderful walks and has places to eat/drink just a short distance away. Its very central to other attractions we went to the zip wire which was wonderful, the national caves and dinosaur park, great day out, also went down the big pit coal mine, another fantastic day out. "Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Great stay

"Really nice well run hotel. All staff friendly and attentive. Fantastic evening meal and equally as tremendous breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom modern and clean with a nice hot shower. We were on a motorcycle, so were particularly pleased by the large flat tarmac secure car park at the rear with an entry barrier. They have a cosy bar area too, so you can have a drink before or after dinner, plus some outside courtyard seating if the weather is good. Good local beer on tap. Given the included excellent breakfast it feels like good value too."
