"Signs in the room indicate that housekeeping would provide services every other day. They never entered our room. The woman at the front desk just said “I don’t control why they don’t do their job” when asked about it. This was the same woman who was talking on her cell speaker when we arrived to check in. We were treated like we were a major interruption. Otherwise the room was fine."
"I booked a 'courtyard king' thinking it would be an interior courtyard room. It was not. Recommend calling to confirm location if meaningful. We faced a street under construction. The room was clean - surprised no robes or bathmat. No blackout curtains but we had eye masks. A few items would have made the experience more luxurious - consistent with the price."
"The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was good. Our room was clean with good bedding. An overall nice hotel with friendly staff."

"Booked specifically for access to the indoor pool and hot tub advertised on Google and Expedia. Found out upon arrival the pool has been closed for renovations since 2022. Just wish this would have been disclosed on the website prior. Not that the staff can help what is being done in rooms, but for the first two days of our stay, the entire floor reeked of marijuana- which is not a great problem to encounter when you are traveling with 3 young kids. While the property was clean and the staff was kind, I did not feel the cost was worth the stay"
"Absolutely everything about this hotel is quaint, clean and excellent service!
Shelly, front desk was so genuine and helpful.
The coffee shop has the right amenities to eat/breakfast/lunch/snacks…
Even cocktails and the best coffees in town they serve too.
Parking is a breeze…
They even leave you two deliciouschocolate chip cookies on your door…
Fabulous place to stay,
We would return.
Much appreciated,
Connie & Tim McGuire"
"The room I had was clean and adequately furnished but the AC unit below the window was so loud at even the lowest fan setting that I had trouble falling and staying asleep.
The selections in the breakfast room were minimal and the scrambled eggs I had on the first day were rubbery and tasteless. The coffee was also bland and tasteless. A tray of mini-bagels sat out uncovered and they were hard and stale.
It should be stated more clearly on the Expedia site that on-site parking at $12 per night is not included in the advertised room rate. This is new since my last stay and I was surprised at check-in with this additional fee. Parking off-site in downtown Beaufort is not a realistic option, so this is essentially mandatory."
