"There was plenty of on road parking. We were greeted by the host who was jolly and informative Room was clean and tidy with everything you need for a overnight stay."

"The hotel was very clean and inviting & the young man on reception (then the bar) was very pleasant. The room was a little chilly when we first arrived but the radiator and the towel rail worked independently and warm within minutes. Dinner and breakfast were delicious & piping hot. The lounge area was a great place to sit with drink and look out at the views"

"Staff. Very friendly and pleasant to talk to, although there was a feeling that the administration could be improved. We had to pay an unexpected £48 for breakfast when we arrived and then received a bill for dinner two days earlier. This was no question dishonesty; it was poor organisation. Breakfast was a disappointment. They boasted about the quality of their breakfast, but it was dried out from being "kept warm". On the other hand, my wife asked for a smaller main course at dinner, and they charged half price. Parking. It was available, and they had electric charging points. We didn't use them because we didn't bring our EV, but we appreciated that they were there."

"The location of this property is lovely but a bit of the beaten track. It does feel like it starting to get a bit tired but also has loads of character. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Did have a wonderful nights sleep."
