IMLAUER Palais Mirabell

10/10 Excellent

"GREAT location..however when we were there the city was doing major construction right next to the Hotel and our room was on the first floor on the corner of the two streets where the construction was....they were even jack hammering at 8am on Sunday morning! The hotel should have moved us to a higher floor or another location..we had a suite so it wasn't a matter of needing an upgrade. The staff were average. The room was sparkling clean. Beds very good. They should consider getting room darkening curtains. Never ate there so cannot speak to that."

"I had a fantastic experience traveling with my family, including a teenager, at the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg. The hotel is centrally located, exceptionally clean, and features very spacious, well-maintained rooms, with everything we needed feeling like it was within walking distance. A major highlight was the great Sky Bar lounge, and we loved that there are excellent food options right nearby. The only minor drawback is that the parking situation can be a little tricky to navigate, but overall, it was an outstanding family stay and I would absolutely choose this hotel again."

"This hotel puts you right in the heart of one of the most busy areas of the city. You can walk to cafes, restaurants, and deserts. However, the front staff was resistant to give advice on where to eat or even discuss the amenities of the hotel itself. In a word, they acted aloof. Still, the room was clean, and neat, and fulfilled our needs. The city is small enough to walk almost anywhere and that is the strength of this hotel, its location."

"We spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed it. Location: Close enough to walk to the Belvedere. Public transportation was very easy to navigate and the stops are right there. Bed: I loved it. A little on the firm side and the pillows were great. Amenities/Features: The gym has a stunning view and is well-equipped. The rooftop bar is gorgeous. The luggage lockers (not free) are secure and very easy to use if you arrive early or stay later than checkout. Staff: Very friendly and helpful Worth noting: Aside from the gorgeous design (which also made it extremely easy to spot when walking back from a day of exploration), they give you a ticket for Prosecco/wine/beer for each day you don’t have your room cleaned. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was perfect and clean. I had two twins. They even sent me up a piece of chocolate cake for my birthday. The restaurant next-door was excellent and apparently very popular as there was a line going out the door. If I had any complaint, it would be that the pillows were lumpy, but I did not complain about them so that’s my own fault. Location wise was great. The shower was strong. It was about a seven minute walk from the train station and about a five minute walk to Mirabel Plaza and maybe 10 minutes to the old town. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The staff was amazing. They were polite, helpful, courteous, and professional. Parking is free and accessible from the first floor. They also offer bus information to get into the city. The room was rather small, especially for four. In our case, the shower doors did not seal properly, causing lots of water to splash out and creating a mess and a slip hazard. Overall it was a good stay but the price was a bit high consisting the room size and shower issue. Did I mention the hotel staff was amazing?"
