"We stayed in two different places in/near Solvaer. This was the better of the 2 by a lot (the other was Svinoya). This one was quieter with a less industrial view of the water/harbor because it was a little further outside of town. Nicer sauna facilities. And better breakfast and food in general. Staff was more helpful. They really need 2 washer/dryers though ;). Note, our 2 bedroom cabin, had the bedrooms on the second floor and the bathroom on the first floor. That worked beautifully for us, but could be an issue for some. I highly recommend."

"wow wow wow. This is the first time I can say the photos do not match the description because the cabins are actually prettier and nicer than the photos! Beautiful fjord views, very spacious, well heated cabins. Dinner at the restaurant is expensive and requires early reservations but the food was delicious and worth the money. Nice breakaft spread. The groundwork is being laid for new cabins construction so I imagine the view may not be the same for some cabins in the near future but everything is perfect right now."

"Amazing staff. We loved our stay here. Very friendly. The location is hard to beat right in the middle of town and on the water. Parking is a little tricky but they were helpful and we were able to find parking even in busy July. There’s no AC but we just opened our windows and was cold enough. Beds very comfy. Free tea and coffee in lobby during reception hours. There’s no reception after 11pm so you have to make sure to keep your key to access the hotel. They serve breakfast and lunch for a fee. No dinner here or restaurant or bar. They do offer a bar and restaurant next door at their sister hotel but you have to walk 100 meters. You can’t bring outside food in and eat in the lobby. Thought that was weird. No fridges in rooms but reception offered to keep our things in their fridge. Umbrellas available. Overall a very cool place and would recommend!"
