"Our room was on the 6th floor, which you had to get off one elevator and walk to another to access the room areas. The hallway was very different that the room on lower floors. While our room was clean, it was small & smelled musty. Thete have been renovations but they were sub par. The bathroom had lots of tiny tiny ants that were coming in from where the door frame did not meet the floor. There was no counter space around the sink for you to put any thing down. You can tell it just a very old space with an attempt to upgrade but the work was not very good in my room."

"Our Villa was clean and ready when we arrived. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were driven by golf cart to our room and bags were brought up to us. The entire stay was amazing. Very polite and respectful to all of us. Would highly recommend and would love to return. "

"During our stay at Aquarius Vacation Club in Dorado, we found several policies and timing limitations that significantly affected our overall experience. Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and upon arrival, guests are required to sign agreements that include a $25 fee for unreturned pool towels and up to a $150 charge related to balcony door usage due to condensation concerns. While we understand the intent behind these policies, the way they are presented feels restrictive rather than welcoming. Additionally, the pool bar and restaurant operate only from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Given the late check-in time, by the time we accessed our room, stored our luggage, and changed, we had very limited time—approximately 30 minutes—to enjoy these amenities on our first day. We also inquired about using the pool after check-out to make up for the limited access on arrival day. Unfortunately, we were informed that this is not allowed unless an additional day pass is purchased. As a result, what is marketed as a “two days, one night” stay feels more like a half-day experience with an overnight stay, primarily serving as a place to sleep rather than a full resort experience."

"We stayed at Royal Sonesta San Juan for a milestone birthday and had a great experience. Our room overlooked the pool, was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast staff and pool service were phenomenal, and the drinks across the bars were consistently good, which made it easy to enjoy the property without leaving. Front desk staff was professional and efficient, just more direct than warm. Lester, our concierge, really stood out. He helped us secure a last minute rental car and gave us great guidance on exploring the island safely. Overall, this is a clean, well located resort with strong service where it counts. We would definitely book again."

"Throughout my stay I was perpetually irritated by the fact that you have to show up at the pool around 7am to put an object to claim a poolside chair. Literally, people are putting playing cards down on banks of chairs. We were told this by another guest after arriving in the afternoon, and it proved out everday thereafter. The other locations for extra guests are by a restaurant about 200' away that includes picnic tables or an artifiicial turf field equally distant that had no umbrellas most days. Sitting on the picnic table benches got old very fast. We chose this resort as it was family friendly and hoped our child would enjoy meeting some other kids. He did and that was great, but they wanted to stay at the pool most of the time, so getting a chair on the beach didn't add much value for us. The staff were nice, committed to customer service and the food was very good for the most part. We won't come back here, because the pool issue was absurd and sitting on a picnic table bench was annoying. "
