"Modern furniture, kitchen and bathroom. Large room and balcony. Plenty of plug sockets for chargers etc. Well equipped kitchen. Can hear some noise from neighbouring rooms. Open shower has very high showerhead which cannot be repositioned so water floods the bathroom floor. Check in time at the hotel is 3pm and not 2pm as stated in Expedia. Good value for money and I would stay here again "

"Excellent breakfast, excellent gym. Very nice quiet hotel with good facilities - gym, pool and nice well-equipped apartments. Hotel has a nice garden and pool (enough loungers and parasols provided) and is a very good base for exploring the island (renting a car recommended). My favourite hotel in Tenerife."

"Bad smell in the room. Sheets used by previous guests, dirty and stained with a bad smell. Torn towels with a bad smell. There was no air conditioning in my first room. Afterwards, they moved us to another one, the air conditioning didn't work, it was disastrous. The worst thing is that I would never recommend this place."

"Lovely location overlooking the sea. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed, although the bunk beds were a bit squeaky! Staff were quick to respond to any questions and helpful with local info. There is no parking at the hotel although you can park at the shopping centre round the corner for €50 for two weeks"

"Her får man hva man betaler for. Gammelt slitt hotell midt i byen og nattelivet. Pent lite bassengområde på taket, god seng, rent rom og veldig hyggelig personale. Verandaen på rommet jeg fikk var 0,5×1,5 meter, rett over en søppel-oppsamlingsplass og parkeringsplass. Det er kolossalt mye støy fra kildesortering (hele døgnet), høy musikk fra mange restauranter om kvelden og natta, biler som fløyter... Ja, det ble ikke mye søvn de 3 nettene jeg var der. Men for noen som bare vil sove i en god...

"Place really needs an update as everything seems really old and worn off. Kitchen was basically falling apart and had ants. Bathroom canal was smelly and the wall around the door including the door were all bruised and chipping off. The bed was probably the best thing about the the place as it was large and we found it comfortable but the place really needs some maintenance. Breakfast was ok and we think it would have been ok to not have it included. However the staff were very kind, friendly...

"First of all I want to say thanks to the receptionists and the amazing cleaners that were doing a superb job and being very friendly and helpful! We had a great stay at Bahia Playa and loved the location and the pools! The big pool is heated to 24 degrees so well above that in the afternoon on a sunny day! The food was not very exciting but there are plenty of other options in the area so no need to go and eat there every time. We had a great stay! Thanks!"

"Beautiful hotel. Perfect location on waterfront and short walking to all good food and drink spots in Puerto de la Cruz. Staff very helpful and nice. Roof top is great. Spa is okay but a bit basic. Only annoying thing you have to specify a double bed when booking which isn't obvious, otherwise they give you two singles"
