"I was incredibly skeptical due to the low cost to stay here! But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a king suite, which had a living room, kitchen and dinette. The bed linens were crisp and white, and towels were fluffy and white and looked/felt brand new. The furnishings of course were outdated, but that’s to be expected at this price point. The important part here is that they were fully functional and clean. There was a small patch of peeling paint above the shower, which is why I gave 4 stars on the maintenance. But again, the overall condition of the suite far exceeded my expectations!! The a/c worked great, the hot water was instant, and parking was right in front of the room. We arrived late so we didn’t enjoy the two complimentary drinks per person at the bar, but the next morning we sat at the restaurant and enjoyed the complimentary made-to-order omelette and hash browns. (Their complimentary menu actually had lots of options.)
Overall, the value was definitely there, and the family who owns and runs the place should be commended for providing good, clean accommodations at such an affordable price.
