Premier Inn Aldgate is a really great location, near Brick Lane with its vintage shops and restaurants, to Spitalfields market, and more. The hotel is clean but not sterile, and very quiet. I booked on short notice and got a room with an accessible bathroom, but I can't really rate that of course. I tried the breakfast one morning when I got up early enough and they have both hot and cold items...you pay just 2 euros more for the hot stuff, like fried eggs, beans, sausages and the like.

Pros: Cleanness, good breakfast, near Aldgate East Underground Station (3 min walk), polite staff Cons: Very small rooms, no refrigerator at room, no slippers The bathroom had poor ventilation, so there was an unpleasant odor every time we entered the room. In addition, the hair dryer appeared to have an electrical fault, it kept turning on and off. WiFi was slow

Our young kids stayed with us in the same room, and the room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. A value for money for what we paid. The English breakfast buffet was decent and the kids ate for free as well.

The location was excellent, close to transportation and walking distance to tower bridge and Tower of London. The local restaurants were great. A little under staffed and some attention needed on housekeeping. Other than that, we felt safe and the staff that was available went out of their way for us. Would go back again, definitely…

The Room was clean except for a stray French fry under the side table. I like this premiere so much more than the travel lodge closer to Tower Bridge. No funky odors. No rats. And a clean and functional bathroom. Service was superb. Price was right as well. If I have to be in this area again. I’d stay here.
