Loved our stay here! The restaurant downstairs was lovely and tasty. The room was impeccably clean and very charming. It was a quick bus ride to the metro station, or a pretty quick walk. Lots of dining options nearby. I’d definitely return.

We have just had a really good two nights here. The room was great and the pub was very welcoming with the steak dinner and the midweek happy hour a particular highlight. I couldn't get the wifi to work but we weren't in the room much so it wasn't a problem.

Very Friendly, close to good transport
Very friendly, we were able to leave our luggage prior to checking in as we arrived in London early. We were given great advice about buses and connections for the various places we wanted to be. Superbly situated for transport - bus stop directly outside pub/hotel, and tube/train station a little further down the road. Into London in less than 30 mins. Perfect. Beautiful old building - a little bit thread bare in places - such as stairways- but we weren’t staying in the stairways so that didn’t really matter to us. Clean bathroom and room, very dark due to the decor, exactly as shown in pics. The canopy above the bed looked like it needed a bit of a dust/clean but overall the room was fab. Great discount off food and drinks - made it way cheaper to eat and drink here than in Newcastle - bonus! Would stay again.

Only there for one night as i had a gig at the nearby O2 Empire. But impressed with the room. Very homely, quaint, and very comfy. It had a great air con unit and even with the window open, it wasn't too noisy. Will 100% book here if staying in the area.

Conflicting advice about time of check in. advice about facilities available prior to booking. Hotel was situated inside a pub which was closed on the day of our arrival with check in closing at 3pm. it was fortunate we arrived just in time.

Hotel room was not cleaned after the previous occupant and even after giving them time found no towels in the room and hence was overall very disappointing! Otherwise Hotel looks decent !

So there was a lovely new member of staff from Australia who was so helpful and friendly, but we were there for a room, and the room was really disappointing and dirty in parts, particularly the bathroom. The rainfall shower is used as a selling feature but it was mouldy and dirty. The bar downstairs is great, even though it shut earlier than stated, and the food is also lovely. You get 1/3 off food if you are staying in a room, but this was overlooked till we mentioned it.

A Real Treat
Cleann room, friendly staff, Egyptian sheets, coffee machine and fresh milk in the fridge. Rain shower and stylish bathroom with decent toiletries. Good quality towels. Great reasonably priced food especially with the 33.3% discount for staying there. Beautiful pub. What’s not to like? Loved it.

One of those frustrating places....
One of those utterly frustrating places for me - beautiful building & room in principle but absolutely let down by lack of cleanliness & maintenance. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly for a while and all bathroom fixtures in a terrible state. Such a shame!

Fantastic stay and will be returning
One of the best stays we have had in London. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and room was large and beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfy, rainfall shower lovely and temperature easy to control. Fresh juice, fruit and porridge left in fridge daily and nepresso machine a bonus. Location wise was good, a little walk to nearest tube, approx 10 mins but we didn’t mind that and from there could get anywhere. Will definitely be visiting again .

Room is gorgeous and clean, lovely shower room also. Modern decor throughout. Rooms on third floor up a slightly narrow staircase which was fine for me but may be a problem for others. No parking, Monday - Friday parking @ £50 per day!

Very nice stay
We really enjoyed pur stay at the Princess Victoria. The interior in both the pub and the room is modern yet still very cozy and comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus so transportation to and from anywhere is no problem. The staff is great, very friendly and attentive. The only “meh” experience we had and didn’t expect was that the cleanliness was not really on top, especially in the bathroom. Also there was no fixing of the room except that apparently someone had been in each day and taken our towels while only leaving us with 1 set (large + small) of fresh towels for 2 people. With only 5 rooms total and clear indication of 2 people staying in our room (i.e 2 suitcases) that was a bit odd. Would still highly recommend though.

the website refreshed and the booking dates changed without my notice. I realised the error when the confirmation email came through. I called the hotel instantly but they were too busy to answer the phone all evening!! They charged me full price even though they knew I wasn't coming and they had two days notice to relist the room! Disgusting!

Very comfortable one-night stay
A one-night stay as we were seeing a band at Bush Hall, about 5 minutes walk away. Very nice pub. The room was lovely - spacious, comfortable, warm, and well appointed. We liked the coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable, especially the pillows. Very nice shower room, loved the old-style fittings. Would've liked to have stayed longer! Handy to get 50% off food in the dining room. Our friends loved their steaks! Couple of faults: TV was wonky on the wall (fittings needed securing properly to the wall) and the fruit left for breakfast in the mini-fridge had seen better days - brown bananas and wrinkly apples!)

Cosy welcoming stay
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Felt welcome and at home right away. The food is excellent and you get 50% off if you’re staying as a guest. The room was lovely and quiet considering it’s above a pub and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot and clean, with lovely soft towels. The flush on the toilet could get stuck and keep the cistern filling so we had to be careful with that. And the sugar dish for tea could do with a lid on top and a clean. But these are minor things that didn’t affect our stay whatsoever and we’ve already booked to come back next year.

There are 5 rooms upstairs in a cute little building outside of Shepherd's Bush area. When staying in the rooms, you get half-price off the food downstairs which is surprisingly great quality, despite the fact that it has the look-n-feel of a pub.

The staff at the Princess Victoria were amazingly welcoming and the room we were in (called the Bronx) was incredibly comfortable. My partner appreciated the in-room air conditioning. They also provide some breakfast foods (fruit, instant porridge) and drinks in the room, which we made regular use of, as the pub doesn't open until just before lunch time. We ate dinner in the pub the first night and everything we had was delicious. The nearest tube stop is Shepherd's Bush Market (and then Shepherd's Bush a bit further), but there are also several bus lines that run nearby that we used to get to different locations in London. The rooms are above a pub/event room so it can be a bit noisy until 11pm to midnight-ish, but we had no problem with it as we were usually out until late.

I stopped in this hotel as the previous one I booked no one was there to let me in, really lucky I found this one at a good price. Never stayed in a hotel above a pub but it felt like I was staying in a regular 5 star hotel the room was beautiful and clean the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to leave. The staff were lovely and friendly let me keep me luggage there until I came back (didn’t want to carry it around sea life centre). Only downside they don’t do breakfast but there are plenty of food places around and they starting serving food at midday. If I was to stop in London again I would definitely come back here.

A hidden gem
Beautifully furnished rooms, well maintained and a pleasant surprise. Handy public transport links close by. Restaurant has a fantastic menu, which also caters very well for the vegetarians and vegans

Beautiful boutique style rooms. However on our first nights stay a wedding was taking place in the rooms below ours and the music was so loud it rattled the walls and floor of our room until approximately 1 am.

The washroom fittings are very fiddly and complicated, the room size is very small and the breakfast is provided with stale apples and bananas, the coffee machine is again to difficult to understand I ended up using nothing in the room and went out :( staff is good and one more thing there is a dog in the way every time you try to get into your rooms :( and I'm allergic to dogs
