It was great until the fire alarm had us outside in freezing temps for almost 2 hrs then i got stuck in the elevator for over 20 min with the person on the assitance line not being of any help.

THIS HOTEL IS LOCATED IN AN EXTREMELY SAFE AREA. IT WAS VERY QUIET AND WELL KEPT. LOVED THE BISCUITS AND TEA, AND ENJOYED BREAKFAST IN THE HOTEL LOBBY.

The Strand Palace was built c1930 and last renovated in 2019. Located in a great location ; walking distance to Convent Garden, Theater District,SoHo to name a few. The rooms are clean,modern and basic. Beware of on line room description! They are very very small. This hotel is perfect to use as a base,not to spend any length of time in the room. Great value for money.

Great location! I didn’t receive any acknowledgment for my VIP status. I think they comped our breakfast in our last day though. The mini bar was VERY well stocked- staff came in to replenish some items but shower gel wasn’t replenished. On two of the days housekeeping arrived to clean at 8:40/8:40 am (son was still sleeping) even though we said we didn’t require it. Overall, we were happy with our stay there!
