Cheap price but disappointing on the basics
Although this property was very close to the family event we were attending and was very cheap, we were still a little disappointed. At a basic price you don’t expect much, but loo rolls really are a minimum requirement (none in either room we rented) and some basic shower/hair gel would be nice.

There is a very complicated system for checking in as you have to send ID and a recent photo (even though it was a photo ID??) and the link they sent would not work so I had to contact them several times (because the first time they just resent the broken link...). The kitchen is a bit grim.....

I liked its convenience for where I was going. I disliked the absence of any soap or shower gel in the bathroom. I disliked the fact that there was a TV, but it didn't work: it was not tuned in or connected properly to an aerial. I strongly disliked the pre-checkin intrusiveness, requiring submission of personal data, and claiming "it's the law". It is not. Don't insult your guests by making false claims like this. I don't trust them with my personal data and I don't see why I should have to, either. There was no warning of this in advance on the expedia site: if there had been, I would not have booked. As it is, I will not use this provider again.

You get what you pay for
The property on arriving is a bit grubby on the outside. A luck of paint wouldn't go a miss. The carpet goung upstairs should be replaced it's filthy and the small shower should be ripped out it's a disgrace. Our room was a large one and the bed was clean. The kitchen was well equipped but we decided to eat out at all times. This property needs a LOT of TLC. Anne Ireland

Accesible to all shops and we got a front parking of our car the only thing we did not like is the front door key because we hardly open the door the door key is dodgy and we need to knock at the door for us to let me in and its good somebody hers us and open the door for us

Cheap and not so cheerful!
Unable to access the property as given the wrong Key code combined with the wrong address. Had to phone customer service to get in....good job someone was available to answer the phone. The shower was a mouldy with a shower door that would not open and a constantly dripping shower that kept us awake all night. The cold water taps x 2 were little more than dribbles. No tea towels to dry the pots and no dishcloth. No washing up bowel but I believe that this is a Northern thing! and no plugs for either the kitchen or bathroom sink. The stair carpet was filthy. I could go on....

Give this place a miss, unless you have a fondness for bedsits
After a booking in process which was akin to joining the Secret Service and suddenly finding that we were in a different property to the one advertised, we climbed up the narrow stairs to what amounted to a small hotel room, but without any of the facilities. We weren't too bothered, as we were basically going to just sleep there, on our two night stay. Unfortunately sleep was very difficult due to the property's alarm going off randomly, particularly during the night. It was so bad that one of the guests took matters into their own hands and smashed the unit, There was no resemblance to the pictures shown on the website. There is no parking, but we managed to get parked, through Just Park, for £20, just a few hundred yards away. The kitchen area was okay, unless you happened to be the poor sods in Room 1, who had to walk through it, to get to their room. Safe to say we won't be returning!!

Great location
Great location, bathrooms and kitchen cleaned daily. Easy access out of hours. Really great for budget conscious traveler. I found it quiet and well appointed. Bed comfortable.

The place was a little tired. The kitchen area wasn't that clean and the shelving was old and falling off the hinges in some places. Not quite the quality we were expecting. Location was good and check-in process was easy.

Nothing like the photos. Described as Wimbledon South but located in Tooting. Very basic house share. Much more like a cheap student house. So bad that partner refused to stay as she didn't feel safe so had to drive home.

Cheap and nasty
In a true case of you get what you pay for, this stay was cheap and nasty. This is not a hotel, so don't get fooled. This is a converted house with multiple rooms that lock up. The check-in process is laborious and you are required to upload your passport as well as a selfie before they give you the code that unlocks the safety box housing your keys. This can be tricky when you're traveling for business and constantly on the go. There was no mention of this in the listing. Our room was on the ground floor wit a view of the bins directly outside our window. Our bathroom was covered in mold and we arrived to a slug crawling up the wall of our bathroom. The bathrooms (or at least ours) was nothing like the images on the listing. The high street only 2 blocks away has some great restaurants and bars and the tube ride into the center of London is only 45min from Tooting Broadway Station - a 5 min walk from the accommodation

Un check in pésimo. Llegamos a las 19.00, no había nadie para recibirnos. Llamamos por teléfono al número que facilitaban, el teléfono aparecía apagado y nos veíamos en la calle. Nos pusimos en contacto con Hoteles.com y a ellos tampoco les respondían. Después de un rato conseguimos ponernos en contacto con los dueños del apartamento, no sabíamos cuál era nuestro apartamento, y al parecer tienen dos edificios cogidos, tienes que adivinar cuál de los dos es el tuyo. El apartamento no estaba mal, un poco viejo para mi gusto y nada que ver con las fotos. El agua de la ducha no tiene fuerza. No recomendaría este apartamento
