Only downside is that it is located on a steep hill and so not convenient for people with disabilities. Well decorated and good breakfast although you had to go to another property. Only downside is that the beds are only doubles due to the size of the rooms. We are used to a King Size.

Definitely a Good Place

If anyone told me that our place in Derry was going to be the prettiest stay, I would have been shocked. We were greeted with a glass of proseco and assorted snacks in the lounge. We unpacked our bags, and went downstairs and spoke to more guests. The rooms and common arras are all art deco, giving an elegant feeling. There are buses, but you can get to the walled city part of Derry easily from the Art House. It is very close to the River Foyle and the Harbor. We would definitely stay again.

Loses all points for noise. Next to road that had continuous car noise. Got 1 hr of peace-sleep. Plus guests were noisy too. Drunks almost all night outside. Some guy banged on the door for a jump of his dead battery at 3am. Plus my rooms bathroom wasnt attached. Otherwise very cute. Aside the university. Just after peace bridge.

The Art House was my favorite place to stay during our driving tour of Ireland. The house has been beautifully remodeled. Easy walking to the ancient wall, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff

A Gem!

This is such an amazing house, a gem for sure. Felt so welcomed, beyond beautiful decor, very clean, tea, coffee, milk, cereal and bread available in property. Definitely go back and highly recommend!

Near Perfect Stay

Lovely stay at Art House. Nice location only minutes away from all the main spots in Derry. Manager and owner very welcoming and chatty, gave us a quick tour on arrival and couldn't have been nicer, they even left a bottle of wine for my father in law's 60th. Property very stylish with all amenities you need, full kitchen downstairs. Rooms very spacious and quirky and we had a lovely night's sleep. Extremely affordable and we will be back

Derry trip

Our whole experience in the art house was wonderful. Connors welcome was great and staff were very friendly especially the cleaner. Sorry did not catch her name, I hope you all have a great Christmas and I would recommend the art house to everyone. Location was fab

The house has amazing decor, wonderful rooms that don't have any faff that's in hotel rooms like useless uncomfortable decorative chairs and a fridge full of water you have to pay to drink. full kitchen downstairs where you can store and prepare any food you want, living area and kitchen/dining room are lovely but I never felt the need to use them myself. Good location 15 minutes walk from basically everything in Derry, and even closer to a lot of lovely restaurants. The price was also extremely reasonable. The only issue I had was that the toilet assigned to our room was crammed in to such a tiny corner my shoulders simply couldn't fit between the wall and the shower so to use it I had to approach with my shoulders diagonally which was extremely uncomfortable and made using the toilet very difficult, and I'm not a large person so someone who was, or even taller/with wider shoulders might find it impossible.

Amazing acccomadation and Derry

Amazing acccomadation, spotless clean in a great location to Derry.....self catering even had cereals, Crisps, biscuits ect. Jon the host was lovely giving us all the places and restaurants to visit. Derry is such an interesting walled city, not commercial at all like Dublin. We have travelled extensively around the world and Derry and accommodation are def on top of out list.. highly recommended!! Xx
