The hotel was so incredibly charming and wonderful. The parking was tricky but the front staff was helpful in giving directions to the car park which was very safe. I would stay here again with out a doubt!

Beautiful boutique hotel that is in an old building but the rooms are very modern and stylish. The staff was super friendly and we were all given a glass of bubbly upon arrival. My parents also had sweet treats in their room - we did not but the bubbly made up for it. The front desk was helpful when it came to parking and places to see live music. The hotel is inside the walled section and so close to attractions. We took part in the included breakfast and were given a beautiful table by the window. Given complimentary mimosas as well. Modern shower in bathroom and robes and slippers included. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Staff the best!!

The staff here are so friendly. We got a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival and mimosa with breakfast. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed over night, very accommodating, staff so polite and inviting, the food at the restaurant is excellent best stay at a hotel I've ever experienced will definitely be a regular at the hotel such a lovely place fantastic hospitality

Highly recommend - the room was a good size. Very quiet - almost no night noise! The breakfast was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. Would come back over and over. If you don’t mind walking up the hill with luggage, it’s a 5 minute walk from the bus station.

Quite literally sink into the comfortable beds with ease. Being surrounded by all different kind of shops, bars and places to make it easy to access all your needs. Not to mention being only about a 3 minute walk from the bus station, it gives good access to explore many different areas of Derry and other places.

I had been looking forward to staying here and it was cute, and the dining was good, but honestly the room wasn't very clean. I am not usually too particular about complaining about cleanliness in hotels, but there was cream or product smeared on the light switches, the glass on the picture in the room was broken, and overall, it just dampened the experience. The room was also very cold and the window had been left open. The treats and prosecco were a nice touch, and the reception staff was lovely.

Great location, but parking isn't easy. Lovely staff, but says had a contractor come into my room unannounced. Scary. Wish my room had had a view other than a W window well, but otherwise very comfy.

Lovely hotel with good food. Staff friendly...not sure if this happens all the time or because its beginning of a New Year....offered a glass of prosecco at check in and again with breakfast. Chocolates and biscuits are a lovely wee touch in room which makes up for the lack of a view. Short walk thru Richmond Centre to Millenium Theatre so ideal place to stay for a show. The bed however in "Abbey" is a massive let down....every spring could be felt on one side of the bed so one of us slept on all the pillows to compensate...not at all comfortable but it would not prevent us using this hotel in the future as everything else was very clean and comfortable in both the bar and the restaurant

Lovely girly stay
Lovely stay, central hotel. Staff couldn't do enough for you! Prosecco on arrival, lovely breakfast the next day. Compact room but cosy, fluffy robes and slippers were a nice touch.

The best thing about staying at Shipquay hotel was the welcome and quality of service, which never fell below the best standard of friendliness, helpfulness and courtesy. It is perfectly situated in the centre of the walled city - we were attending the choir festival and it is less than 5 minutes walk from the Millenium Forum and the Guildhall. For shopping, the Richmond and Foyleside shopping centres are also less than 5 minutes walk. There is parking available on the street, but concessionary parking at Foyleside car park meant that we could just park and leave the car for 4 days without a worry. Breakfast was also excellent (sufficient for the whole day!).

Beautiful property with nice amenities like robes and slippers. They greet you with Prosecco at check in. Breakfast was delicious and included in our rate which was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.

Hotel is beautiful and in the heart of this amazing city. We were greeted by a glass of bubbly when we arrived, nice touch, as we were there to attend an engagement party. The staff is what makes the hotel, very friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived back from the party at 4am, nothing is any trouble. Breakfast was amazing and once again were offered glasses of bubbly. Rooms are fantastic and bed extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return. The 5 stars are truly earned.

We have travelled extensively and can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and excellent value for money. The staff were so friendly, our room with a view (of the Guidhall) was fab and the food was top quality. The welcome of sparkly wine on arrival and at each breakfast was a lovely touch too. I can’t recommend highly enough.

This facility has went out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Staff, especially Lilly Rose, are exceptional. You are greeted with champagne, homemade cookies and delicious truffles. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A full hot delicious Breakfast was able to be ordered and was included in the price. The only negative thing is that you have to park in a lot down the street using an app which is not easily navigated.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful with everything from parking suggestions to local bars and events. The room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was great and the bathroom was very clean and bright. The restaurant was very good, as was the bar. Attentive but not in-your-face staff made the experience that much better. A welcome Prosecco each morning and on arrival we’re a nice added touch. Would definitely recommend the Shipquay to everyone. Within the walled city and close to everything. Well done!
