In addition to their warm hospitality, the ultimate highlight was the beautifully presented three-course breakfast created each morning by Peter, featuring fresh and preserved ingredients from their garden. "This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!"
