"Lovely property, very convenient for Windermere area. It was handy that all three bedrooms have their own ensuite. It was lacking a little in kitchen utensils if you wanted to properly self-cater. There were some odd little items missing like hand soap in the bathrooms and only one toilet roll in each room, but otherwise clean tidy. "It wouldn't really be right to single out just one aspect of this hotel as being superb. The truth is that every feature you would want to be top quality in an outstanding hotel was exactly that during our stay! Friendly, helpful and polite staff made for a relaxing stay. The breakfasts were very special; tasty food matched by the superb views!"

"The hotel is in a lovely location and many of the rooms have a view of the river, which was lovely. However, reception advised us not to open windows as flies come in, which was a shame. However, luckily there was a fan in the room as it was quite warm. The hotel was spotlessly clean but you can tell its an old building. They had quite an old TV in the room and not many Freeview channels but everything else was great, especially having a car park on site. We didn't eat or go to the bar so can't comment on those but would stay here again."

"We stayed for 1 night at the end of September for a birthday. The hotel was stunning. The spa was bliss. We had a room with a hot tub and it was perfect. The hotel was quiet at night and other guests were respectful. The food and drinks were good, a bit on the pricier side. I would definitely stay again."

"Lodge was great with a really lovely view and very comfy beds. Kitchen looked a bit tired with chipped worktops and it would be useful to have some drawers in the built in wardrobe areas for smaller items that don't need hanging. restaurant had good selection and food was good. Pool area, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were good."

"Hotel staff are amazing never anything too much and always friendly and cheery even if somethings gone slightly upside down (internet fail on our second to last night out of their control), freshly cooked food was always amazing, some rooms are in the process of being updated but our bedroom was loveky but bathroom needed a bit of tlc for the bath. Defi ately will be returning next year to see them :)"

"Amazing stay ,staff couldnt have been more helpful. Breakfast was really good quality. View beautiful. The hotel is very central to everything and would highly recommend. Hope to go back at some stage. All staff made you feel welcome especially Annliya who was so helpful and knowledgable about area and nothing was a problem very kind person and amazing at her job."
