"A lovely place to stay. We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. The hosts are every attentive, and although we can't speak french very well and their english was limited Google translate saved the day, especially at meal time when we sat with Celine and her family"

"Great location, super comfortable bed, excellent pool and convenient for walks, countryside and town, restaurants and bars. "

"The room was clean with tea/coffee making facilities. A good view of the town. The attached restaurant was very nice, as was the food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh with fresh bread, cheeses, coffee, juices, cold meat selection, jams, yoghurt. Very nice. Bathroom very clean and heating was very welcome on a very cold day."

"A stale kitchen smell hung around the reception and permeated the building. No lights were on and it was like entering a dark cave. I normally like quaint old hotels but this was just down at heel and dispiriting. The photographer must be very clever as the reality was dismal. The sauna was an extra 55 Euros so we didnt use it and didn't eat there as the stale smell was so unappetising. We would not have stayed except that we had booked and paid in advance."

"We arrived at the hotel to find it closed and half derelict. Despite taking our money, the hotel had clearly not been used for a considerable time and was completely closed We are now attempting to get a refund via Expedia"
