"This is a quaint little gem in Cache Creek and I would generally recommend it. Unfortunately, we are extremely sensitive to artificial scents, and, unlike most larger hotels, this place uses some kind of scented laundry products on the linens and it was horrible for us. If this doesn't impact you at all, you're in for a comfortable and convenient stay. We really enjoyed having the Amazon TV and the swimming pool and inner courtyard were lovely. If you are sensitive to scents, this might not be a good fit for you."
"The host was very personable and friendly. Facilities were clean, very comfy bed too. Great bathroom! Nice touches like Netflix and a DVD player. Quiet location and very good local knowledge. We loved our stay."
"This is a motel with very dated decor. It reminds me of my grandma’s house with chairs and lamps from the 1960s. That being said, it was pet friendly and clean, and well equipped. For a one night stay, it was ok. No elevator so a bit inconvenient for someone with compromised physical capability. I didn’t ask for ground floor unit. The beds really need new mattresses as both beds were worn. We did not use the shower but it was clean and did not have any detectable mold or stains. The carpet was stained but no odor that we could detect. An improvement needed is a privacy liner curtain so you can have the window shade open without people being able to see in your room while walking by. The office was closed when we arrived around 3:45. We never did have any in person contact with the host since the office was closed when we checked out at 9am too. I don’t plan on returning to the area. It was ok for whatever needed it for. The kitchenette was fully stocked which was a big plus."
"Everything you need in one place. Quiet room even though the highway is 100 yards away. Food in the pub is great, and breakfast in the restaurant in the morning is very enjoyable."
