"The staff were so lovely. It was our daughterโ€™s birthday and in the morning when we came down for breakfast theyโ€™d put up bunting, sprinkled confetti and written her a sweet card. Breakfast was plentiful and extremely tasty. The room was impressive and the pool was warm. Would definitely recommend."

"The building was amazing for its age. we didn't experience any lost soles at night cleaning not the best the high dusting hadn't been dne for months rather disappointed being it cost ยฃ160 a night and you cnt get a breakfast they recomend 2 cafe's to go towe went in to the bar for a drink and i think we stood there for nearly 10 mins before some asked if we would like a drink"

"One of the best hotels in North Wales. Location and grounds are perfect. 5 mins drive into Llangollen and 15 mins into the mountains. The staff are incredibly friendly and there's a really nice vibe throughout the hotel. ๐Ÿ’ฏ will continue to visit here."

"Staff were very friendly and beds were really comfortable, however, the hotel does appear to be in a period of transition. At the time of our visit the lift wasn't working, and there was no food available in the hotel. On a minor point the TV in the room couln't pick up a signal , maybe due to it's position right by the Wrekin. At first glance the hotel does appear to be in an isolated spot, but it is less than 30 minutes drive to all the attractions of the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire Hills and Shrewesbury. Telford is about 15 minutes away, and there are a good choice of restaurants there. All in all I would be happy to stay there again."
