"We had a wonderful stay at the Distill Inn! The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and gave us a great start to the day. The location was convenient for exploring Bardstown.
If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay, we would definitely recommend the Distill Inn and would happily stay here again."
"Absolutely wonderful stay after a horrible stay at another hotel chain(WoodSpring suites Louisville jeffersontown) !!! Very refreshing to experience welcoming staff , clean rooms, amenities and family line environment!! Very pleased with my experience, will definitely stay again !"
"The room was so nice in the Washington Irving Suite with a fireplace and big jetted tub. We were over the bar and definitely the music was hearable but once it was done, the room was sooo quiet! We sat on the balcony and stayed dry from the rain while we watched the world go by. The included breakfast was so great. Eggs to order and they went out of their way to make me decaf coffee. The staff really did go above and beyond for everything. We were just disappointed we didn’t get dinner at the restaurant because we asked too late and they were already full. Totally recommend the Talbott if you’re going to Bardstown."
"Checking in was easy, once we figured out the office was off the courtyard. The sign says "check-in kiosk", but it is an office staffed until 10pm. The young lady that ran the office was super nice and helpful. The Bardstown Motor lodge is nicely restored as a mid-century modern motel. We had a suite which was very large, by motel standards. The bed was extremely comfy! The living room area had a sofa, side chair, small dining table and 2 chairs, a wet bar with a sink and under-counter refrigerator. The area could be separated from the bedroom by sliding a barn-style door. Unfortunately, the bathroom door was also a sliding barn-style door (not very private). The bedroom had a coffee bar with a Keurig, microwave, and another under-counter fridge. Our suite had 2 doors-- one opened to the parking lot (we could park right in front of our room) and the other opened to the courtyard, which has Adirondak chairs and tables, picnic tables, a large outdoor fireplace, and some smaller, individual firepits. Very nice to gather your group or meet new friends. The pool was closed due to a pump failure, but the area was fenced, private, and nicely appointed. I would recommend to anyone who likes those retro vibes!"
