Missing smoke detectors, broken glass on shelves in the closet, 20 bottles of shampoo but not a single extra roll of toilet paper (we were there for a week), paper towel holder but no paper towels, holes in the bath towels the size of a softball. The list goes on. It did have aome things like coffee filters and coffee grounds. But one big consern was that you cant lock up the apt before you leave. Its set so you ja e to leave the door unlocked and the keys on the counter, just doesn't seem safe.

It was ok. The area was great. We had a nice trip & it was pretty nice for the area. Disappointed that there were only 3 bath towels and no hand towels or wash clothes. It would have also been nice to have at least 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels & a small dish soap.

Beware! Hotels.com does not vet the rentals
Bait and switch. The place we stayed in was not the picture showed online. We showed up at the address booked, met the individual outside, and then drove behind him to another location in the complex. The apartment was in a large gated complex. It was an approximately 1200 sq foot two bedroom apartment that a company is subleasing. The carpets were horribly stained and dirty. The carpet gave off a mildly unpleasant odor. My bare feet became dirty from walking on them. The vertical vinyl window blinds had missing slats. The apartment faced a busy road that was mild to moderately loud. There was no soap of any kind supplied. There were only two pillows on each bed. The pull-out sofa bed legs were broken. The air-mattress would not hold air. Sheets for sofa or airbed supplied but no extra blankets or pillows. No code for the gate and had to sit and wait until other residents entered or exited. No garbage cans larger than a gallon. No trash bags. The mattresses had no mattress cover but appeared new and were very comfortable. The parking was designated in the basement and free. WiFi was fast and handled 7 devices steaming without any lagging. The location was only a couple miles from Universal Studios. The kitchen was adequately stocked with the common appliances and utensils. For the price, location, and size, I would stay again if those things I mentioned were remedied. I would never stay again until those carpets were cleaned or replaced.

3 main problems with this property - 1. Extremely close to the freeway with noise so loud none of us could sleep. 2. Check-in process was really annoying because you have to schedule a time to meet someone. Very hard to know an exact time you'll be arriving. 3. The sheets on the bed were still wet, as in they were taken out of the dryer and put on the bed before they were dry. Very strange. We had to strip the bed and put the sheets in the dryer.

The apartment was very clean and the guide who brought us the key was very friendly but unfortunately, there were a few things that could have been better. First, the tag used to open the main door to the building didn't always work. This was a general issue experienced even by the residents of the apartment complex, so I am not really blaming the maintenance company. Nevertheless, it was a nuisance. The kitchen was equipped with only three water glasses, and three wine glasses, and no wine opener. We got only five towels, although we had booked the apartment for six people. Furthermore, the couch in the living room was very small, so three of us had to sleep in the king bed in one of the bedrooms. We were there with five adults and a "child," which, at 16 years, was nearly an adult. When we complained about the size of the couch, we were told that the apartment was meant for five adults and a "small" child. Unfortunately, this had not been mentioned in the room description. If the Expedia booking application accepts five adults and a 16-year old "child," there should be enough space in the apartment for all guests to sleep comfortably bit this was, unfortunately, not the case here. Nevertheless, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Unusual to checked-in on time but we have to wait an hour because the unit still not clean. Also the kitchen and bathroom faucets are leaking. There’s no instructions how to get your free cable channels.The place was very accessible to Universal Studio City without any long travel to traffic road.

The pool and gym were great. The apartment was run down. Broken living room blinds thrown in closet of bedroom. Both bedroom beds kept collapsing but were fixed our final night. And a welcome human feces in the clogged master bathroom toilet when we arrived. No art or anything on walls. Stained carpets masked with strong airfreshner.

This Apartment was very nice to stay. Big, clean, lot of sun light and nice kitchen. However Apartment service was terrible. We could not check-in very first day as they could not provide us the key for apartment. Eventually after spending few hours in mid night to contact them we ended up renting another hotel for our first night.

Great location the management is very disorganized
To start not knowing about a key to get in and then there was a $30 charge to get the key which they had to bring to us. At the end of a busy day of Universal Studios we sat and waited for an hour for the key he finally shows up and takes us to our 2b/2b room. When we get there he forgot some papers he was supposed to print out so he asked to take a copy of my Visa (both sides of it) I told him that this made me very uncomfortable they should not being doing business this way and he said he forgot these forms their printer wasn't working ??? And he also forgot to tell us where to park our car in the under ground parking which also belonged to the tenants who live there so we had to wait for him to get back to his office and look on another piece of paper he forgot to bring. After an hour and we were tired but could not sleep cause we had to go back down in garage and move our car we called him and he said he just made it back to the office. I notified Hotels.com right away about our card and they were excellent about it and I notified our credit card company and they issued us new cards. We should not have to do this. Upon leaving he said leave key in room, but the door would not lock so when we called him he said don't worry about it wont lock??? Our bathroom was filthy at the ceiling and it makes you wonder about maintenance of this building (see pics).

We were on a family vacation to universal studios. The apartment was only a short drive away. Designated parking and WiFi was very nice. The apartment was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a laundry machine, a simple living room, dining room, and kitchen. The complex also had a pool, hot tub and gym. We had requested an extra bed, but it was not there. When I called the office, they asked if I had brought my own air mattress. (???) They offered to go purchase a new one and deliver it. But whenever I called to see when they would deliver I got “I’ll call you back.” And didn’t hear back from them. By the 2nd night, we didn’t bother anymore and made do without. The sofa is a cushioned bench. It did not fold down and was small. The kitchen had the big appliances but only a few cookware and dishes and no condiments or spices to cook with. Some of the bedding was dirty, there was a layer of dust over the vent, and the kitchen cabinets had a film of sticky grease. Overall, we would stay here again but would bring our own cooking and cleaning supplies, and bedding/air mattress.

Book only if you sleep in earbuds
While the location was awesome the room needed some improvements. Both beds ended up falling bc there were slats missing. The sink kept backing up from i do not know where. Traffic and a neighbors music were very loud. We had one washcloth to use for the entire apartment. We were going to cook one night but there was not enough equipment in the kitchen to do so.

Property was in great location and had excellent wifi.unfortunately in need of maintenence. Sliding door screen is off and missing slats in blinds allowing sun in very early, carpets in need of clean. Check in is unnecessarily difficult

We liked the off street parking, amenities and the pool/rec area. Also, property was close to grocery and Universal Studios. We were not impressed with the condition of the apartment: carpet could have used spot cleaning, kitchen stovetop and between frefrigerator not clean, blinds and bed slats were broken and in closet. Thus, pictures portrayed was not what we got (false advertisement).

The size of the rental was great but we had to wait an extra hour for it to be ready and even once we were in the place was not clean. There was left over food in the fridge still, the TV didn't work, the blinds were broken in both rooms, and there were large stains on the carpet.

A new experience in short vacations...
The location was convenient. The linen was not pressed and we had to place pillowcases ourselves. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is too noisy. I think it needs to be replaced with a quieter one. Overall, we liked the arrangement of like being at home but on a holiday. Hotel stays, though convenient, can prove to be too cramped if you just wanted to relax.

Really enjoyed having full blown kitchen and lucky our balcony didnt face other appartments. 2 small things that could have been better are the tiny ironing board, should be full size and shower curtains should be properly cleaned.

The apartment is nice. Clean, NO smell. The only thing - they need to clean ventilation ceiling defuser, very bad. The price is reasonable. Close to Universal, 20 min walk. Grocery plaza right beside. Do not rely on the sofa in the living room: small and hard. No BBQ (as promised), no sauna (some website advertise this location has the sauna), the hot tab has LOTS of chlorine, I even could not open my eyes there, jump out in a minute. The gym is good: we enjoyed! TV-No cable, use your own Netflix account. No dish soap in the kitchen, not dishwasher detergent left, not even sponge to wash the dishes. In conclusion, next trip I will try to book with them.

Inconvenient!!! Not easy to check into!
Biggest disappointment was that we did not know we had to drive to another location to pick up the keys to the apartment. Then, the property manager did not explain instructions very well on the garage opener system that we got charged $150 for taking the plastic device that is to open the garage wih us. We thought we needed it to exit. These instruction really need to be VERY CLEAR and left in the apartment! And I was told to write if I needed the keys earlier for the apt, which I did, and got no response and had gotten in touch with the property owner the day of and was told that there would be an early check in fee if I got the keys early. Again, non of this was in any fricken written contract until we arrived!!!!! NEVER EVER DOING THIS AGAIN!!! Ruined our trip. Went cheap just to be tricked into all of these additional things and running around and now being charged extra fees for things that were not explained!!!!! Also, the apartment blinds were falling and some blinds were missing causing a lot of sunlight to come in, and some of the shelves on the walls were falling off too.

Big mix up
I had a horrible experience... they had me go to the park and search for another person who they gave my room to and switch keys... i called and told hotels.com what was going and they told me that the hotel would fix everything... but they didnt fix anything i had to...my family spent all day trying to fix this mess... we bought food to put in the room for the next morning and we were not able to do that cause of this problem...i was promised some form of a discount for this inconvenience and still havent received any compensation.... i will not recommend this hotel to anyone... i spent alot of money on this trip to have it ruined due to a negligent employee was very dissatisfying

Stayed here overnight October 4th 2018 due to flight change. Apt was extremely clean. Furniture was comfortable. Check in was super easy as well as check out. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Extremely pleased with whole process.

The place itself was very nice and comfortable. Parking was great as we had an assigned parking spot in a garage and didn't have to play hunger games for a spot outside every day. A downside is you have to make sure you know you're checking in at an office 11 miles away, its on me that I didn't realize that at first as its on my check in sheet. You get a key and a fob for the elevator to bring back with you. The elevator you park by is not the one to take as its on the opposite side of the complex. Unfortunately the fob we were given didn't work, and the office had to uber another one out to us so that was a pain. There were a few small cockroaches in the apartment that we saw over the few days. Also the tub drains like it has a slight leak, not a drain. Meaning that it would fill up as you shower and not drain the water for hours. Made taking back to back showers a pain. All in all the stay was good, but could have been better.

We had to pick our keys up from a different location that was about 15 minuets away from where we were staying. We got to our room about 330 and had to wait in hallway because it was still being cleaned the lady forgot to leave extra towels and only left us with less than a half of roll of toilet paper & we were staying 4 days. We called main office they sent someone out to bring more paper that day & the towels were delivered the next afternoon. On our 2nd day we killed a few small bugs in kitchen on 4th day realized it was a cockroach when we found a large 1 then another in bedroom. We did receive a refund for last day they were very apologetic but we had a hard time finding a room for 1 night last minute. It ruined our whole day& didn’t get to do some of what we had planned

What was advertised is not what we got. We expected a king bed and a sofa bed. What we actually got was a king bed and a hard sofa. There weren’t any washcloths. We didn’t have any coffee for the coffee maker. The bedding that was for the “sofa bed” was damp still. And there were slats missing.

El departamento es lindo, pero no me gusto que el jabón que te ofrece estaba mezclado con agua, el olor del baño no era agradable porque olía a trapo húmedo, la cortina del baño tiene moho, fuera de eso la cama está cómoda, y el sillón también, el muchacho que nos dio el servicio fue. Muy amable.
