"The hotel is very nice and modern feeling. The room was comfortable and had all the things you might expect. Temperature in the room varied a bit. It had both large opening windows and AC, but still given the temperature outside (~30C during the day when I was there) it was hard to get a good balance with those and avoiding getting bugs and flies coming in. Didn't try any of the food options. It is close to a few shops and restaurants (including a supermarket) and bus stops for Torrevieja (bus every ~30 mins or so)."

"It's a very nice hotel. All rooms have a balcony and air conditioning. Minor issues in my room were dealt with quickly. There is a beach bar and a terrace bar on the top floor where the sunsets are glorious. Just bear in mind that because of the hotel location, on the beach and in the middle of Santa Pola, it can get a little noisy at times."

"this was our second stay at the Hotel Gran Playa within a year, we checked in late due to flight delays from Madrid to Alicante in the historic (el Apagon) black out in Spain the receptionist explained about the black out and no electricity no lights in our room tired and hungry from the ordeal and no bars or restaurants to go to, a lovely lady getting ready to go home after her shift I was asking where we can get something to eat offered us pizza from the kitchen i think her name is Mercy, we owe her deep gratitude for caring "

"I have just returned home from an 11 day trip to Torrevieja. I stayed at Hotel Cano again because I like this Hotel very much. It is clean, friendly and convenient to shops, transport facilities and near enough to walk to the seafront.. I took breakfast at the hotel every morning. The coffee is delicious, the toasted bread is served with ham and cheese or a an option of butter and jam. Plus you can have fruit juice and cakes. . All the staff are friendly and helpful if you need information. I will always choose this hotel when I return to Torrevieja, because, as a lone older female traveller, I feel completely safe and cared for here, and will always choose to stay here if I return to Torrevieja. A big thank you to everyone. 😍"
