However, if you advertise a restaurant and you are 17 MILES away from everything, that advertised restaurant better be open. We were panicked when the restaurant had not been open for over 1.5 years!!! The thought of going back 17 miles on a country road after driving over 5 hours was a deal breaker. "The Inn at Zaca Creek was a treat, and we will certainly be back. The room was exquisite. It was made completely of stone with a Chandelier set into a high ceiling, rather like living in a castle. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had amenities galore, as did the snack bar set up with coffee and cookies all inclusive. The tavern had delicious food and drinks, the service top-notch. We were really treated like royalty and loved every moment. This is definitely a go-to for us."
